Hagakure Dojo London

Last month Qiran, Luca and Anna achieved nikyu after an excellent embu in the dojo in preparation for their ikkyu examinations at the summer seminar.

Congratulations Anna, Luca and Kieran on passing 1st Kyu at the summer seminar in Cambridge. Well done!

On Saturday Gabriel, Luca and Anna attended the Iaido intensive training day in Cambridge. This was an excellent experience in the lead up to the summer seminar to help our members get ready for their grading. Thanks to Martin and Collin for running the event, and all those who attended!

Congratulations to Hagakure Dojo member Luca Affuso-Price - he has been selected for the national team that will compete in the 2025 European Iaido Championships in Prague.

Dave Fanning Sensei competed in the inaugural Northern Iaido Friendship Taikai in South Shields, Newcastle. Everyone got to showcase their favourite koryu. A really good day's competition followed by an excellent curry.
