The inaugural fundraising match between the Sherdills and the British Army Polo team took place at the Royal Berkshire Polo Club in 2010.

It’s purpose was to commemorate the battle of Saragarhi – an epic military encounter battle that took place over a century ago. HRH Prince Charles , himself a keen polo player, attended the match of which the proceeds went to support the ‘Bhumi Vardaan’ Charity Foundation and the British Asian Trust.
