Healthy lessons I was reminded of by spending a lot of quality time with my fur niece Cleo:

- The present moment is all that exists and matters. Yesterday is a memory. Tomorrow is an illusion. Life happens now. Don’t miss it.

- Boundless Joy is an unbeatable emotion that will turn even the hardest day around. Create some reminders in your day to not take life too seriously. Especially when hard.

- Show your love to the people in your life without holding back one single bit. Be loud and espressive of it as often as possible. The more the better.

- Always start by eating the things you enjoy most so you leave less room for the things you actually don’t enjoy. If you can avoid eating things you don’t enjoy altogether, do it.

- There’s no such thing as too much physical affection. Nothing warms you from the inside more than the touch and embrace of a loved one.

- Be careful who you surround yourself with because you’ll eventually start mirroring their behaviour.

Which one of these resonates with you the most?

So much wisdom in such an innocent creature. I can’t wait to hang out with her again 🥰💫

We had lunch at the beach a few days ago. A simple plate of fresh pasta with tomato sauce and basil went a long way for my husband.

I don’t like to eat much when it’s hot so I had a snack bar and some fruit.

To each their own.

I never ever have the same food and my husband and don’t know how people can make that work.

We have different bodies, taste buds, metabolism, preferences and needs so we each honour our own without putting pressure on the other to do the same.

Do you ever feel you have to eat the same stuff as your family and therefore fail yourself for doing so?

Our wonderful dinner at our favourite pizza joint in Catania a few nights back.

It was magnificent.

Light yet satisfying.

The best roasted potatoes ever (shared between 3 of us).
A loaded roasted vegetable platter I ate all by myself.
A vegan pizza (shared with Eugene).

The more vegetables I eat the less of anything else I crave - that’s why I was able to share the pizza instead of having my own and skip dessert (I had fruit once I got home).

You truly can eat more and weight less 💖🌱

Meet my fur niece Cleo 🥰

The star of our family vacation.

Makes me want to get a dog. Yet again, maybe not 😅

One thing is for sure, she never fails to drag me fully into the present moment with joy and unconditional love, regardless of what’s going on in my life and in the world.

I sure appreciate the reminder 💫

At our first fire ceremony at the Sicily Wellness Retreat, I was reminded of something both simple and powerful: an upgraded life often asks us to release what no longer belongs in it.

Sometimes that means outdated habits, familiar routines, old stories about who we are—or relationships that keep us anchored to a version of ourselves we’ve outgrown.

Letting go doesn’t need to mean anger, blame or a lack of love. You can love people from afar. You can honour the role they played in your life while choosing not to live by their patterns, limitations or expectations.

Growth creates a natural invitation: to make space.
Space for healthier choices.
Space for new energy.
Space for relationships that meet the version of you you’re becoming.
Space for the life you are ready to build.

Nothing holds us back more than clinging to what is familiar simply because it is familiar. Release the old with gratitude—and trust that what is meant for your next chapter needs room to arrive.

What are you ready to lovingly let go of to make space for your next level? Share one word in the comments, or save this post as a reminder when it feels hard to choose yourself.

Hormone harmony isn’t something you have to navigate alone.
When you’re surrounded by people who understand the shifts, the questions, the goals—and who value nourishment, rest, movement, self-trust and sustainable wellbeing—it becomes easier to stay connected to yourself.
A supportive community can remind you that you’re not “too much” for wanting to feel energised, grounded and at home in your body. It gives you space to learn, share honestly, celebrate progress, and make choices that support your health without perfectionism.
Because real wellbeing isn’t built through pressure. It’s built through consistent, compassionate support—within yourself and around you.
If you’re ready to feel supported on your hormone-harmony journey, comment HARMONY or send me a DM to find out how you can be part of our community.

I don’t talk supplements often because it’s so easy to overdo them—but there’s a handful I’m committed to and always take on holiday. Magnesium is one and my current favourite brand is Healthy Metal : Convenient sachets, genuinely delicious, and an easy way to support relaxation, sleep and daily intake. Link in Stories to try them yourself.
