Meet Dolly and Adrian, a truly special pair on (and off) the court. They first met in Madras, South India, and after a long courtship tied the knot on 6th May 1978. This year, they’re celebrating an incredible 48 years of marriage – a love story that’s still going strong.

These days, you’ll find them sharing rallies and smiles at St Chads Park in Barking & Dagenham, where they absolutely love their tennis lessons. It’s a real pleasure to have them on court with us – living proof that the joy of tennis (and of being together) only grows with time.

And since it’s Valentine’s Day, here’s to a partnership built on patience, teamwork, and plenty of shared wins — on court and in life. May your day be filled with warmth, laughter, and love that keeps rallying back.

Hennessy is our Player of the Month! 🎾✨

It’s been a little while since we last shared a Player of the Month, but we’re bringing it back and shining a light on the brilliant players in our programme.

Hennessy was the very first player to join our Green Ball lesson when the programme started last September and she’s been there ever since! She’s watched the group grow and has always been so welcoming to new players (including her sister 😄). Her tennis has come on massively over the past year – we’re really proud of her progress.

Keep it up, Hennessy! 💚
