🔴 Next up is your Vice President, Surya!!! 🔵

Surya is a friendly face around the club, particularly on a Wednesday night. As social sec last year, Surya made it her mission to get to know everyone in the women’s club by having a drink with them and everyone in the men’s club by them getting her drinks 🍷Still running the socials, just with a fancier title, Surya is ready to organise some of the clubs most reputable events, including pub golfs, family nights and end of season dinner 💃🏼

🔴 Meet Jenny - Your Club Sec!🔵

Jenny spent half the year injured but still managed more socials than most, proving nothing can stop her. A true funnel fanatic, she’s always first to get involved and last to leave.

This year the tired boyfriend chat is officially retired, it’s jenny’s time to run the club 💅. Paired w Bashir the ones are levelling up again, good luck GKT you won’t be winning the league on a technicality this time🥱🥱.

The only real question is will jenny play more cricket or hockey? either way she’s a baddie through and through, and the club couldn’t be in safer hands, freshers good luck x

🔴 Meet Dharam, Jameson's right hand man and one of KCLHC’s most competent committee members 🔵

Despite being an avid Liverpool supporter, Dharam is actually one of the nicest guys in the club, especially if your name is Yash or Jay. Or if you look like Yash or Jay. He is also pretty good at hockey, though he tops the ball more often than yash tops him.

Other notable things you might want to know about Dharam are that firstly he has a foot fe**sh. Feet to Dharam is like Regis and making sweet sweet love, just bordering addiction at this point. He’s also from Birmingham which often brings about dejected looks of deepest pity when mentioned, though this man needs no sympathy.

He is cool, calm, collected, a president of his own society no less, and always looks sharp. It is rumoured that Dharam is in fact wholly responsible for the whole immigration schism at the moment because of the surplus of Turkish barbers required to keep his trim so fresh.

🔴 Meet Cesca - our club’s trusty ATM! 🔵

Cesca made her very first impression by being the only fresher to agree to the pub after the first training, trekking to Bermondsey before realising she’d unintentionally gatecrashed Isa’s birthday and landed herself with free cake! Setting the bar for any fresher to follow.

When we’re lucky enough for her to leave the pits of the library and grace us with her presence on Wednesday socials she sets the bar, with a notable mention of her, Mahima and Sophia turning themselves into our favourite grocery stores for our british icons night.

Our finances are in safe hands as to quote her AGM speech “my gap year didn’t finance itself” and prides herself on her use of daily spreadsheets to budget her life.

From jumping into fountains on tour to complaining that being a fresher wasn’t as bad as she’d like it to be, our finances and freshers are in safe hands ;).

🔴 Meet Sofia - our Women’s 1st XI Captain 🔵

Sofia Bashir is the embodiment of commitment. She will never give up, even if it means walking home from Pimlico barefoot. Sofia craves a big night out, except when she is forced to walk a whole 5 minutes down the road to DC. All bark no bite. Sofia is a valued member of the 1s, a regular feature on the TikTok and Az’s best mate.

Unfortunately, Sofia doesn’t quite reach 5ft and is also from Canterbury. Despite this, to anyone wanting to join the 1s, Sofia is a brilliant captain, determined to do the triple over on GKT at Macadam this year as her second year as skipper.
