Graduate Spotlight: Lyla Ireland
Congratulations to Lyla who will be joining Leipziger Ballet Junior in Germany this season. As she prepares to take her first steps into professional life, Lyla reflects on her time at ENBS.

π¦ Graduate Spotlight: Max Anderson
Congratulations to Max Anderson, who'll be joining Cape Town City Ballet for the start of their next season.
Originally from California, Max discovered ballet at the age of nine before moving to England at 14 to study ballet. At 16 he joined our senior school, to continue studying, training and performing, most recently touring in English National Ballet's My First Ballet: Cinderella.
Looking back on his time Max says:
"I will always cherish my time at ENBS and the amazing friends I made along the way. I would like to thank the School for all of the amazing opportunities we have been offered during our time here. I am looking forward to moving on to the next step in my career, seeing a new part of the world and all the new adventures that will come with it."

π¦ Graduate Spotlight: Mihiro Miyaoka
From Japan to London, and now on to the professional stage.
Mihiro Miyaoka began dancing at the age of four, inspired by her grandmother. In 2023, she competed at the Youth America Grand Prix Finals in Tampa, where she was awarded a place at English National Ballet School, joining the School in January 2024.
This season, Mihiro begins the next chapter of her career with Slovak National Ballet.
"I am excited to continue learning, developing as an artist and embracing new experiences as a professional dancer. I will always be thankful for everything ENBS has given me, and I will carry the lessons, memories and friendships from my time at the School throughout my career."
Congratulations, Mihiro. We wish you every success as you begin your professional journey.
