💫 Graduate Update
After completing her first three years of training with English National Ballet School, Haru Yokoo joined our Graduate Artists Programme in 2025. While training with GAP has been touring with in Sleeping Beauty and more recently in My First Ballet: Cinderella.
We're thrilled to announce she will now be joining the company as an Artist.
"My time at GAP was incredibly valuable for me. One of the biggest highlights was having the opportunity to perform with the company, where I was able to dance alongside amazing dancers, observe them closely, and learn from them directly. During this year, after graduating from school and becoming more involved with English National Ballet, I learned how to push myself independently and continue growing as an artist.
I am very grateful for all the support I have received, and I am beyond excited to be joining the company soon."

From water polo to ballet ... for ENBS student Jean-Loup Visconti ballet was not always the plan.
Before discovering dance, he spent years focused on competitive swimming before later moving into water polo. It was only at the age of 14, after a visit to the theatre with his uncle to watch La Scala Ballet perform Gymnopédie, that everything changed.
Now in his final term Jean-Loup reflects on his time at ENBS:
“Both the artistic and academic staff here are incredibly supportive and reassuring, from the physios and teachers to the safeguarding team. What supported me the most was the personalised guidance and feedback I received from my tutors.”
Jean-Loup is looking ahead to the next chapter of his professional journey, having secured a contract with National Moravian-Silesian Ballet in the Czech Republic. 🇨🇿

🖼️ For the past four years, ENBS students have had the privilege of choreographing and performing original works within the extraordinary surroundings of the Wallace Collection, one of London’s most celebrated museums and home to world-renowned masterpieces of art and sculpture.
Guided by ENBS Tutor Juan Eymar, this unique project encourages students to think beyond the traditional stage, exploring choreography, storytelling and performance from multiple perspectives within an intimate gallery setting.
“Performing in such an intimate setting felt incredibly special because there was a much stronger sense of connection with the audience.”
- Ella, Year 2 Student
“This project taught me that a painting does not end at its frame, it continues through the body, through breath, through shared imagination.”
- Daria, Year 2 Student
“It was a real honour to perform at the Wallace Collection surrounded by extraordinary artwork. Experiences like this are incredibly valuable as they challenge us technically and artistically.”
- Vittoria, Year 2 Student
