Sisters, what irritates you about the assumptions and expectations people have about your age?
If you feel uncomfortable, shy, or frustrated about sharing your age, why is that?
Does age ever really matter?
Join us and vent about it!

Life is precious π₯°
What matters the most to you?
Is that what you are focused on? π―
If not, what's getting in the way of that?
We don't get time back. β°
Sometimes, we get so bogged down with the things we think we really need to do to survive that we leave no room to do the things that will help us thrive...π³
As a mother, that is so easily done.
The thing is, our children learn far more from what we do than what we say.
So, whilst you are busy encouraging them to be fearless and to follow their dreams, are you doing the same? π€
DM me if you need help to start practising what you preach.

Happy Friday All!
I hope you are well.
Tell me...
Do you have a Mother-Daughter 'wound'?
How has that impacted you, your family and others?
Come and share (or just listen) with us in the Black Women Venting Room on Clubhouse on Monday 25 April at 1-3pm Ghana/2-4pm UK.
Anyone and everyone can come and listen. Usually, only Black Women are permitted on stage.
At the end of each month, and on this occasion, Black Men will also be welcome to join us on stage to share their perspectives on how this 'wound' impacts or has impacted them π

My sons and I exited a tube station one day and sitting right outside was a man with a disability asking for change.
As I walked past, my youngest son asked me for money because he wanted to give the man some change. I told him he had 50p left of his own money and asked him if he wanted to use that. He said he did.
My eldest asked me how much money he would have left if he bought the special colouring pens he said he wanted. I told hold him he would have Β£1.20. He asked for that amount. I asked him if he was sure and he said, "Yes".
So, off they both went and gave the man their 'change'.
When they returned, my youngest son said, "It feels really good to know that I have contributed to someone's future."
