Argia has been a crucial part of our team’s magic both for her skills and her entertainment value. On the pitch, she leads with passion and motivation (though at a very relaxed pace, since we don’t really run here at LSE Lacrosse…).
Off the pitch, Argia’s true LSE brain shines through. Her sharp, always “kind” commentary keeps the sidelines lively and the crowd entertained.
And when it comes to socials, Argia is unstoppable she can drink, she can dance, she can cry (sometimes all at once). One thing’s for sure: as Vice Captain she will lead us… maybe not in the right direction, but the journey will be unforgettable (well, depending on how much we remember 😉).

Next up…the man with the midlife crisis: DAN, our brand new club treasurer!!!
At a ripe 28 years old, Dan is technically still eligible for university sport, although no one’s quite sure how. What we do know is that he’s got the charm of a finance bro, the hairline of a stressed-out CFO, and somehow… somehow… managed to pull India. We’re still investigating.
On the pitch, he’s a dependable king - somehow running significantly quicker than half the team. Off the pitch, he’s the guy who’ll tell you about compound interest and buy you a pint - a rare combo.
This man is built for spreadsheets, budget breakdowns, and probably a mortgage. He’s got a mysterious past (rumour has it he once had a LinkedIn Premium account), but he’s now putting those Excel skills to good use to make sure your socials are chaotic, your stash is stacked, and your subs actually go somewhere useful.
LSE Lacrosse is in safe hands with Dan on the books. Long live our financially savvy silver fox 🧓💸

Introducing… the woman, the myth, the legend, EMMA SCANLON, our very own club captain!!
On the pitch she’s an absolute menace - screaming at opposition then getting slightly too friendly with them at socials! For the pitch she’s just as legendary, she might have had a big night the day before but she will always be there bright and early at matches or training the next morning (definitely not participating in the warm up)
Emma has already proven herself as 1st team captain last year, and now she’s ready to take LSE lacrosse to even bigger and better things. Whether you need lax advice, a shoulder to cry or, or a crash course in becoming a Mormon, Emma’s your go-to.
We cannot wait to be led by Queen Emma for the following year 👑👑

Introducing… the woman, the myth, the legend, EMMA SCANLON, our very own club captain!! 😜😜
On the pitch she’s an absolute menace - screaming at opposition then getting slightly too friendly with them at socials! Off the pitch she’s just as legendary, she might down 10 jagerbombs the night before, but she will always be there bright and early at matches or training the next morning (probably with a cig in hand during warm up)
Emma has already proven herself as 1st team captain last year (yes we won the league, no we don’t brag about it), and now she’s ready to take LSE lacrosse to even bigger and better things. Whether you need lax advice, a shoulder to cry or, or a crash course in becoming a Mormon, Emma’s your go-to.

What a night, what a year, what a team. AU Sports Ball at Ally Pally was nothing short of magical—celebrating under those lights with the people who have made this year so special was a moment I’ll never forget. From the laughter to the speeches to just looking around and seeing how much love and pride we all have for this club, it was truly something else.
To the exec—Amy (social sec), Emilia (2s captain), Jesse (treasurer), and Trinity (VCC)—your dedication, energy, and love for this team have shaped something truly amazing. And to Daliyah, our incredible president, none of this would have been possible without you. Your leadership, kindness, and unwavering commitment to this team have left a mark that won’t be forgotten. You have been the heart of this club, and we are all so lucky to have had you leading us.
To everyone moving on from LSE, thank you for everything—you’ve built a legacy, and we will carry it forward with pride. I’m beyond excited for next year, to continue what we started, and to grow this team even more. It will be my absolute honour. Here’s to another year of passion, friendship, and everything that makes LSE Lacrosse so special. 💛💜.
Love ur first team Cap xox

WHAT A SEASON!!! LSE LACROSSE 1S ARE OFFICIALLY YOUR LUSL LEAGUE WINNERS!!!🏆🥇🙌
There have been ups, there have been downs, there has been opposition who have been too afraid to face us (cough roho, cough im*erial 😷) but it has been one hell of a season. From yellow cards to rail replacement buses and some rather promiscuous side line comments we’ve rallied and remained the passionate, dedicated team we set out to be at the beginning of the season 🔥
To our American imports - Jasper, Ryan, Peter, Costas, Andrew, Ada, Ivan, Matt, Dani, Min - all I can say is god bless the USA 🦅 Thank you for choosing our club and remaining committed (ish🫣) throughout the year. We love you and don’t you dare forget about us when you go back to the homeland 🇺🇸 We sure as hell will never be able to forget about you…. 🥴
To our leading ladies - Alice, Ana-Maria, Angelica, Kiersten, Tiwa, Thalia - you guys have brought to the club a grace and class that we definitely needed to counteract some of the chaos 💃 Thank you for being our most dedicated members on and off the pitch💖
Tan and Jack - love you, thank you for helping me keep my sanity🫡
Argia, Hettie, Will, Dan - you guys are the future of the club and I couldn’t imagine leaving it in better hands. I have no doubt that you guys are going to do another epic job next year continuing our legacy 🤩
India - aww my welfare sec. SO PROUD of you that you finally worked out how to do your job at the end of the year! 😜 You are a key pillar of this club and it wouldn’t have been the same without you 🐎 And finally to our amazing, inspirational 1st team captain Emma - you have taken this team from strength to strength and you should be hugely proud of yourself (I know I am). Your heart, dedication and unwavering commitment has set the bar so high this season and I have no doubt you’ll continue to shine even more next year ✨I am so immensely proud of each and every single one of you for putting your all into every training, match, pub trips, golf sessions etc…. It has truly been an honour and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to finish my lse lacrosse journey with 🥹🥹 Love you all! Daliyah (your madam president) ❤️

Happy International Women’s Day! We’re celebrating by sharing a little bit about a few of the amazing women in LSE Lacrosse!
We are so lucky to have every member of the club, social or playing, who all contribute to making lse lax as amazing as it is!! 💐💕

Laxthuania 2025!!!! where bad decisions aren’t just made, they’re celebrated. K**** Kevin unlocked absolute chaos mode, while the freshers thought it was a great idea to act like they’d just discovered alcohol. We drank like it was a LUSL match decider, passed out in ditches, on tables, and probably in a few places we shouldn’t mention. Where was welfare? We’re still looking. The shirts? Let’s just say fashion was not a priority. And Watergate? Still under investigation 👀. Cheers to all the memories we’ll never forget and the ones we will deny……

Match Report: The Chaos Chronicles of LSE Lacrosse
see post for full match report xx
Ah, where do we even begin? A tale of bravery, confusion, and absolute carnage—welcome to yet another chapter of LSE Lacrosse, where the game is violent, the journeys are questionable, and the post-match decisions? Even worse.
The Journey Home: A Greek Tragedy on Wheels 🚎
If you thought the game was chaotic, just wait for the trip home. After devouring some much-needed pub scran, we entrusted our fate to our beloved president. Bad idea. The wrong bus was taken. Many moments of realization were ignored. Until, of course, the moment of clarity hit, and we decided the best course of action was to get off the moving bus.
This led to some elegant tumbles (Eden, we salute your bravery), and at this point, we collectively evolved from cats to full-on tigers. A moment so powerful that Hettie, Argia, and I claimed our territory in an alleyway. If you know, you know.
The Downfall of Daliyah: A Tragic Comedy
One moment, Daliyah—our fearless president—stood tall. The next? She was on the ground, utterly defeated by gravity. Tears were shed. Not from pain, but pure existential crisis.
And me? Useless. Fully collapsed, crying with laughter. At this point, reality completely cracked, and delusion took over.
The Spiral into Madness
Blissfully following our wrong bus, we abandoned logic entirely. What started as casual conversation somehow descended into be******ty and bullying debates—two topics that should never coexist.
How did we get here? No clue. Why did we keep going? LSE Lacrosse tradition. And this was only the beginning.
Final Thoughts 🎭
A game of blood, sweat, and sideline bans. A journey home that can only be described as a fever dream. And a team so beautifully chaotic that no one else could ever compare. Would we do it all again? Absolutely. Would we make smarter decisions next time? Absolutely not.
