A touching moment, being on the same piece of land, which was once home to the internment camp, where Joseph Pilates lived for almost four years. During his life at Knockaloe Internment Camp on the Isle of Man between 1914 and 1919, Joe developed the foundations of his Pilates Movement Method.

Today, Pilates is acknowledged world-wide. I am grateful to be part of the Pilates community, empowering individuals to grow their love for healthy movement, physical and emotional wellbeing.

So good to be back at the home of and to work with the incredibly knowledgable education team over the weekend. Meeting the students and working with them brought back memories of me going through the same process not that long ago.
