Time is almost upon us! We know everyone is buzzing and eager to get back on track after what has felt like a long winter break, and what better way to kick off the season than with a record-breaking grid at Silverstone GP.

This is the largest grid of all V8s (with one small exception 😉) that Bernie’s V8s has ever assembled, and it’s even possible that this is the largest all-V8 grid seen anywhere in the UK this century.

To see such an incredible lineup of drivers, teams, and machinery come together for the season opener is something we’re hugely proud of. From Camaros and Corvettes to Mustangs, TVRs and more, this grid perfectly captures what Bernie’s V8s is all about — variety, character, and thunderous racing. A massive thank you to everyone who’s made this possible… what a way to start the season at Silverstone GP. Bring on the noise, the action, and an unforgettable year ahead. 🏁🔥

It’s almost Christmas and time for folks to dust off those projects that they have committed to finish!

Seven Corvettes will be flexing this weekend at Oulton cheered on by a big group from Classic Corvette Club UK Group 👍

This weekend is the US Autoshow - headlined by Bernie’s V8 and we’re expecting a bumper turnout with great weather.

Our mix of noisey V8s are exciting both drivers and spectators - our grid is another sellout with 40+ cars for our visit to the Cheshire countryside. Oulton Park is fast, bumpy and our drivers rate it as one of the very best circuits in the UK.

Come cheer us on, join us in the paddock or come and grab some autographs on our Grid Walk for this great family friendly event.

Like most of our rounds it’s impossible to predict who will triumph. Once again we have the flying Scotsman 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Stuart Robb in his rapid TVR who will be eagerly chased down by Jake Swann-Dixon in his orange Camaro. Dan Birch had his first ever win last round - could that motivate him to the front? or will Gary Lapidus breeze past them all on the straight bits with his wide and slippery 7.6L Corvette.

Full grid of 33 cars including 9 fire breathing Open Header Corvettes lined up for the second annual US Autoshow at Oulton Park this weekend.

This gem is located in the heart of Cheshire and is the most technical track on the whole calendar. Scenic, bumpy, not very straight and FAST! This grid is guaranteed to produce some epic battles.

Come join us, spectate, and cheer us on!

To add to yet another first, we will have TWO father-and-two-sons on track at the same time, the Chodosh’s and the Carter family. Great effort! 👏

We are hosting a Drivers Grid walk where folks can come and meet us up close and personal.
Spotters guides and merchandise will be available from our Drivers Hospitality tent.

Yes folks - we are excited and getting ready to rumble!

Come join us for this fun weekend. 30+ cars signed up for a full grid of noisey V8s !

An exhilarating and exhausting weekend in equal measure, but SO much fun!!

What a blast we had at Silverstone last weekend!

The weather was kind to us with three dry sessions and a great carnival atmosphere on the Saturday night where 60+ drivers and groupies were fed and entertained post our awards ceremony.

Qualifying was tricky with a lightly damp and slippery track. In race one, Jason Clegg was impervious with a standout victory. All through the grid we saw some great drives including Lee Maddox in his Ascar, banging out some great times 👏.

With a trio of Corvettes and the same number of Mustangs there was plenty of noise for the spectators.

Race Two saw the top 10 reversed, leaving Dan Birch for his maiden BV8 pole. Holding the pace for the rolling start nicely, it was the brute BHP of Sim in dads Corvette that stole a march on the newer machines. Seeing the Vette lead a 25 car pack was certainly exciting. In the end it was short lived when the axle mount broke and snapped the prop shaft - whoops.

Clegg was again on top spot but failed to achieve the fastest lap - this time taken by Matt Holben.

All in all, a bloody great weekend with a lot of fun. Our group has such great characters and camaraderie - shown by 10 drivers coming to support us even though their cars (or themselves) were not deemed fit to compete.

Unsung hero award(s) go to:

Graham Walden - for making the trip to the midlands to borrow a suspension upright and Andy Race for spending all day and most the evening fitting it to get Billy on track

Ray Barrow & Matt Snowball - for identifying and fixing the reason my Vette emptied its gearbox oil on my rear tyres. Plus fixing my broken alternator mount - it got me on track and I’m grateful.
