We are proud to present our squad for the Great Britain Men’s Under 19 National Team, which will be taking part in World Championship Qualifications in Jõgeva, Estonia between 8th - 12th September.

We are sure the entire UK Floorball Community will join us in wishing the boys luck in their matches against Austria, Ukraine, Estonia, Slovenia and Hungary.

Games will be broadcast live on the IFF App.

UKFF AGM INFORMATION:

The AGM will cover key updates on the 2025-26 season from UKFF's Central Committee, as well as projects and plans for 2026-27. Everyone is welcome to join the meeting.

Attendees will have the chance to vote in Central Committee role elections (maximum one vote per club). You can also ask any questions, volunteer for a working group or suggest any ideas.

The London Sharks finished their European Campaign in fourth place, after a narrow loss to FC Dragons. It was another thriller in a week of closely fought contests by the Londoners.

Sharks star Petr Perina summarised the game and the tournament for the London Club. "Tough game with a familiar opponent. We started the game better than last time but did not convert promising play into goals, while the opponent capitalised on a few chances. That left us chasing from behind in the second period and ultimately in the rest of the game. Both teams showed up with a lot of heart and passion and fought hard until the final whistle. Another game that could have gone either way but unfortunately didn’t go our way.

Looking back at the tournament, we can be proud of how we showed up, while taking away lessons around taking penalties and being more clinical in scoring. We’ll put the work in now to make sure we come back stronger next year!"

The Sharks take on FC Dragons (Milano) in the Third-Place Play-off this morning in Prague to cap off their campaign.

They have been exciting and thrilling throughout the week, and we expect this to be no exception.

Another thriller in Prague as it ended all square in a back-and-forth encounter for the Sharks and Dutch Champions FB Agents.

Both sides led the contest and had chances to clinch it, but it ended in a tie, which sees Sharks with a 3rd Place Play-Off with FC Milano.

Adam Engström summed up the game for the Sharks: "A game that swung both ways. We started strong and alert with a composed first period and deserved 2-0 lead. [In the] second period we were a bit too passive on the start and let them into the game. A couple unnecessary penalties from us and nice plays from Agents evened the score. A tight third period in which the game could’ve gone either way.
We are disappointed to not come away with the win but pleased to have got the equaliser and get our first points for the tournament. A very strong performance from all players. We go again tomorrow"

The Sharks are back in action, flying the flag for UK Floorball as they take on the very talented FB Agents of the Netherlands.

The Dutch Champions are 1-1 in the competition, having narrowly beaten FC Dragons but falling to El Valle.

The Sharks are looking to bounce back from their gut-wrenching loss to FC Dragons on Thursday and end their European adventure on a high.

As always, the game is on the IFF App for a subscription, but the highlights will be on there free of charge after the game.

London Sharks and FC Dragons (Milano) served up one of the games of the summer, but one with a sting in the tail for the UK Champions.

Fredrik Olsson shared his thoughts post-game: " Wow, what a rollercoaster!
We were definitely game-ready; still, we somehow ended up 3-0 behind very quickly.
However, the Shark spirit was there and we grinded back in the game by hard work. Leading 4-3 with 2 minutes to go. Unfortunately, the game had a late twist with the ball dangling on the goal line, and the referee decided it was in, followed by 5-4 with 12 seconds left to go.
We still have the chance to finish on a high, so the team is getting the energy ready for two more games."

Sharks have a day off before their final group game with Dutch champions FB Agents on Saturday.

The Sharks gave a great account of themselves in their opening contest, and FC Dragons took FB Agents (Netherlands) to the wire - this should be a great contest!

London Sharks asked questions of the Spanish champions El Valle, but fell short in their opening game in Prague.

Rasmus Hermansson took Player of the Game honours for the Sharks, thanks to his equalising goal and all-around play.

Captain Fredrik Olsson saw the positives in his side's performance after the game.

"Great to be back in Europe and to challenge some other champions. First up was CDE El Valle from Madrid. Spain. Unfortunately, we fell short this time, but with the margins on our side, it could have gone our way. Now we are resetting and preparing for FC Dragons from Milano, Italy. The Shark spirit is high!"
