It’s been a week since the British Nationals and it’s great to see all our students celebrating their successes 🎉🥇!

Well done not only to those who won medals, but to all who turned up. The hardest part is stepping on the mat and we are so proud of all our competitors 👊🥋

Some snaps from the Advanced Randoms📸

The object of Advanced Random Attacks is for two defenders to react promptly to two attacks each - delivered consecutively, and defeat the two attackers with short, sharp, effective defences.

This competition is known as ‘best of the best’ and qualification is by invitation only to black belt Random Attack medal winners 🥋

We are proud to have had 4/9 competitors from Kokoro Kai, taking home the 🥇 & 🥉, with the gold medal winner taking it home for the second year in a row👀

We are back with part 5 of our UNJJ series. This week we look back at Blackpool 2009 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and Copenhagen 2010 🇩🇰.

Our camera roll 📸 begins to fill out now with some more pictures of the course which forms an integral part of the UNJJ. We are extremely lucky to have so many high grade instructors from all over the world demonstrating ju-jitsu at the highest level 👊. Even if we do fall foul to a few impromptu wrist locks off the mat!

We certainly cannot wait for this year’s course at Gibraltar and what amazing techniques the instructors will bring 🥋.

Please like, share and follow 😊👊

Kenji enjoyed his trip to Birmingham at the weekend, he spent the day supporting our competitors and even attended the gala dinner in the evening - and he looked the part🐻🤵🏻

He enjoyed it so much - you might even see him at the UN in Gibraltar🥋

Who spotted him over the weekend👀

Last night we celebrated Chief Instructor Sensei Claire being awarded her 8th Dan (Hachidan) 🎉🥋

Her dedication to Ju-Jitsu, Kokoro Kai and off the mat commitments to the BJJAGB, reflects how deserving of this grade she is. Please join us in congratulating Sensei Claire on this amazing achievement!!

Part 4 of our UNJJ series 👊. This week we take a look back at South Africa 2006 🇿🇦 and Gibraltar 2008 🇬🇮.

South Africa marked the first UNJJ where we competed as Kokoro Kai. This means this year’s UN would also be the 20th anniversary of the club 🎉. It was also the first team demo medal for the club. Let’s set what this year holds 👀.

Gibraltar 2008 also sees some more familiar faces appearing for another well attended course and competition 👊. We can’t wait to return in October ‼️

We sadly don’t have any photos from Greece 2007, so we’d love to see any photos in the comments below ⬇️

Please like, share and follow 😊👊
