We’re recruiting players for our ‘26 / ‘27 squads. Our 5 men’s & 3 women’s teams play across East League, from Div 1 South to Div 6 SE.

Training & home games are at Walthamstow Academy in E17, with access to world class facilities at Lee Valley HTC.

Membership concession rates include reduced fees for new joiners, U18, Goalkeepers & students. And your first 3 training seasons are free!

We’re so proud of our Forest player Mudassar who represented England in the inaugural Para Hockey World Cup. The team did brilliantly, finishing 9th overall and being awarded the Challenger trophy. Congratulations to the whole team and everyone involved with the tournament 🤩

Huge congratulations to Forest players Daniel and Eddie who took part in the England Hockey Talent Academy Cup over the weekend as part of the Old Loughts TA 🙌

A brilliant night out away from the pitch for the women’s teams watching Avenue Q, thanks to our vibes queen and theatre boss lady Claudia 🙌. It’s very funny - go see!

We had another brilliant back to hockey session last week with everyone getting stuck in and building their skills & confidence, despite the warm weather 🥵

We’re going to postpone this Wednesday’s session thanks to a small thing called the World Cup semi final, but will add it on to the end of the current run 🦁🦁🦁

Remaining dates - July 29 for the final coached session, with matchplay sessions to follow. It’s not too late to join in so get in touch if you’re interested 🏑

It was the turn of hockey this weekend in the annual London Youth Games and teams representing the borough of Waltham Forest have been trained by WFHC over the past few weeks, with familiar faces from our U12 and U14 taking part. The boys had a fantastic run, finishing jn 4th place and narrowly missing out on a medal. The girls worked hard throughout and finished 20th. Over 2 long, hot days both teams did themselves proud 👏
