London Film Academy (LFA) is a film school that operates like a production company, fuelled by experienced filmmakers who are passionate and excited to be passing on their knowledge and expertise. Our training is intimate, practical and intensive, designed to emulate the hard-working reality of the film and TV industry. Our multi-disciplinary approach, in which you learn about all the different aspects of filmmaking, not only engenders an appreciation of your peers’ roles but allows you to become an informed and responsible filmmaker. We tailor make and design courses, workshops and events to provide opportunities, choice, collaboration and progression for everyone we work with. MA Filmmaking alumnus Emmanuel Ektipah Blay created Voices of Denim, a documentary commissioned by Levi’s and the Afro Fashion Association, which was screened at Milan Fashion Week.

The film explores culture, identity and heritage through denim.
