I've spent the week tweaking my baseplate-less brackets. Low height low cost brackets set in this case at 63 and 15 degrees and with a ride height just tall enough to allow deep pumps, whilst keeping pushing and foot-braking effortless.

Dusted off my first ever mold, (originally bolted together) and dusted off my hydraulic press, to squish up a new mold, in order to vacuum press and old shape in a new way.

Josh hu**ed 2 tonnes of concrete through my house, helping to make the new workshop, so i built him a replacement deck for his park board (which was completely battered). My first go at a popsicle. 7 ply of reclaimed oak plus a couple of thin fibreglass layers as he says hes always breaking decks. 32 x 8.5 WB14.5.
Made him a decal of a chimp skating cos he loves apes.

V-Lam and Oak blank pressed and ready for Tony Best to cut out, but will he decide on an old school pool board or a cruiser with carvers ? Tony?

This made me smile.
Plumbing a copper pipe into the sky today sorted my slightly off vacuum completely.
But can anyone explain why ?

Latest mod to my NO BASEPLATE brackets.
Ball and socket pivot mod to reduce weight and improve pivot location. So far so good. Pumps like a bitch and hasn't failed yet. Fun R&D times ahead......
