A note about penalties in the 2025 Vet 4s Head

In 2022 we didn't have any "late to start" penalties.
Things have moved on since then at lots of events and we expect crews to be in position for example above Chiswick Bridge by the time we state.
This stems from lots of Div 1 crews at various events rocking up last.minute.com and expecting the event just to wait.
That's not fair on the crews who do follow instructions.
If we take out the "late to start" the number of penalties is probably not that different from in 2022.

Due to a family emergency for the VOLUNTEER who manages our medals, the winners' medals for our event have not yet been delivered. We will post them out to your Club via your BROE contact but this may be in early December. Please do not chase us - your empathy is much appreciated. We can confirm they are in production right now.

Remember no slotting in - crews have to be in position 15 mins before 1pm.

Please listen to our Marshals and Umpires and your host club - we are all aiming for a safe and fair event!

Remember : if we can't see your crew number we can't give you a time! A pin on each corner of your number and ensure hair doesn't cover it. The clever use a screw to keep their Empacher number in its slot and avoid any collisions where it can be knocked off!
