If you’d told me 3 years ago that this would be me, I would have been in hysterics!

As you may know, before becoming a coach, I had a drastic transformation of my own - as a client..

I went from yo-yo dieting, doing stupid amounts of cardio, fasting, being chronically stressed, hating myself and being so unhappy in my own skin, to a woman who finally found balance, a life of food freedom, where I workout to be strong - and I can honestly say that l finally found myself!

This experience was really what inspired me to become a coach.

I have to pinch myself that I now get to help women (and some men too!) who feel trapped in their bodies, like they are doing absolutely everything but nothing feels like it is working, who are so confused about all the conflicting information - finally love what they see in the mirror! They feel strong, energised and have a life where they can still enjoy going out and not worry about it or punish themselves!

I can’t tell you how privileged I feel to be able to do this. It’s the most rewarding job in the world.

Not only am I a different person to where I was 3 years ago, l never believed I would be in a position where I can change people’s lives. Wow!

I want you to know that you don’t have to just accept that you ‘are too old’ or ‘you will never lose the weight’ or that you ‘won’t ever love what you see in the mirror’. I want to tell you that YOU ARE SO WRONG if you believe this.

I found my way, I found what worked for my body and I achieved the body confidence that I always craved. Not only that, I have so much energy, I’m strong, I’m happy and I enjoy my life to the full without restrictions!

Believe in yourself, show up and I promise you, you can feel the same.

Sorry for the radio silence… I’ve just got back from 10 days in Florida with my family 🌴☀️

And honestly? I feel completely reset and well rested ( apart from a little bit of jet lag!)

Whilst on holiday…

I didn’t train for 10 days 😱
I ate what I wanted. 😱
I did loads of steps (we went to Disney so averaged about 17k steps per day)
I listened to my hunger cues and didn’t overeat
I slept, I laughed, I walked, I was present.

It was exactly what I needed.

Have the scales gone up? Yes.
Am I bothered? Not at all.

Am I jumping into anything drastic now I’m back from holiday? Absolutely not!

No detoxes, no starving myself, no punishing workouts.

Just going back to what works:
👉 Prioritising protein
👉 Getting my steps in
👉 Lifting weights 4 times a week
👉 Focusing on sleep

That’s it.

This is what a healthy lifestyle actually looks like. It includes real life. It includes rest.

And it doesn’t fall apart after a holiday.

After months of following an extreme diet, this came to me:

-Afraid to eat when she felt hungry
-Fasting daily until midday
-Doing hours and hours of cardio per week
-Unsure of how to fuel herself properly
-Disconnected from her own signals
-And completely burnt out

Over the last three months, we worked together to rebuild trust and confidence in her body.

We prioritised lifting weights - and she discovered strength she didn’t know she had.

She learned to eat in a way that supported her body instead of punishing it.

She stopped fearing food and started listening to what her body was really asking for.

And with each week, something powerful happened…

Her mindset changed.

“I loved working with Katie. She has been so supportive and completely changed my mindset. Highly recommend.”

This is why I do what I do.

Because for so many women over 40, especially those navigating life post-diet or midlife changes, the real transformation isn’t just physical -it’s mental.

If you’re tired of extremes, confused by conflicting advice, and ready to feel strong, fuelled, and confident again - let’s talk.

5 Things I Wish I Knew When I Started My Fitness Journey

1. Results take time. Not days. Not weeks. Real, lasting change happens when you stop rushing and start showing up consistently.
2. The weight you want vs. how you want to look are not the same. The scale won’t tell you how strong, confident, or lean you feel in your clothes.
3. Love your body at every stage. Hating your way to progress doesn’t work. Respecting your body makes everything easier.
4. Food is fuel, not punishment. You don’t need to earn your meals. You need to nourish your body, especially as we get older.
5. Be consistent. The magic is in the repetition, not perfection. Keep going, even when it feels slow.

If you’re just starting (or starting again), you’ve got this! Results take time but boy are they worth it!

Have a plan, have patience, and belief that you’re worth it.

If you want to discuss how I can help you achieve your goals, without restrictions without giving up the things you love, then drop me a DM to book your free consultation.

Yes- I coach men too!

I’ve had a few new male clients join me recently, so I thought it would be worth a shout out to show this incredible clients results.

He was already in really good shape but wanted to build muscle whilst still keeping up with all the running and cycling he does.

Well, round of applause 👏 You can see how much lean muscle he’s built- this was over 23 weeks. Training 3 times per week and increasing his protein intake. Nothing major just building some good habits to what he already does. He is also 60 years old!

So, I’m going to say it again… you are never too old to make a change!

“Nothing Tastes as Good as Skinny Feels” - and Why I Disagree .

I’m a health and fitness coach for women 40+. I help women reclaim their health, energy, and confidence.

I’m jumping on this “Skinnytox” trend, so let’s talk about what’s never said enough in the fat/weight loss space:

Fat loss should never be about chasing the smallest version of you.

I know, because I’ve done it.

The photo of me on the left (2023):

Exhausted. Starving. I’d lost my period. My mood was low. I had extreme sugar cravings.

I was the “skinniest” I’d ever been - and the unhappiest I’d ever felt in my own skin. I still thought I had more weight to lose.

I was chasing skinny because I thought it meant health.

It didn’t.

Fast forward to now:

I’m about 12kg heavier on the scale.

But what I’ve gained?
Muscle. Strength. Energy. Joy. Food freedom. Confidence.

I eat more.
I train better. And harder.
I sleep like a log.
I live fully.
And I’m actually happy in my body.

I still care about how I feel in my skin.
I still have goals.
But I’ll never again equate “smaller” with “healthier.”

To the women chasing “skinny”

Please hear this.

You can lose weight AND be kind to your body.

You can chase transformation AND choose nourishment, not punishment.

You can become the healthiest version of yourself - and guess what… she might weigh more than you expect.

But she’ll LIVE more.
She’ll be stronger.
She’ll have peace with food and confidence in her skin.

Skinny might taste good to some…

But strong, healthy, and empowered?

That tastes a whole lot better.

I am the SAME weight in both these pictures but they both tell a very different story.

The photo on the left:
Fasting daily until 1pm. HIIT workouts 4 times per week. Using food as a ‘reward’, having weekends ‘off’ leading to overeating on the weekend and then being ‘good’ during the week. Not being very nice to myself. Feeling unhappy and confused. Feeling like nothing worked despite all the punishing workouts I did.

The photo on the right:
Eating 2300 calories a day and fuelling my body.
Prioritising strength training and daily steps. Eating a big breakfast daily. Enjoying food freedom without guilt. Being kind to myself and giving my body what it needs.

Two very different people but the same weight!

This is why you shouldn’t let a number on the scale dictate your life or your progress. It’s just a number, it does not define you!

What does define you is your energy, your mindset, how you look and how you feel – there is no better feeling than that.
