Some travel, fitness and a special moment 👀💍

Meet my hybrid client (online/face to face) Haytham who came to me wanting to lose body fat and get into the best shape of his life for his wedding/honeymoon. He also really wanted to get visible abs for the first time in his life - He’s ✅ that box

Over the last 4 months he’s lost 22kgs/48.4lbs and roughly dropped around 10% bodyfat. He’s pretty unrecognisable from the man on the left 👏

He’s been very consistent over the last 16 weeks, we’ve had to navigate different situations such as Ramadan, winning the champions league - he’s a huge fan 😂 and a few pretty intense dietary restrictions we’ve had to work around

His strength has gone up in the gym, he’s much fitter and he’s got heaps more energy. He hasn’t had to restrict himself massively to achieve this, we worked together to find a plan which was suitable and easy for him to follow

Give me a ❤️ if you think he looks amazing

If you’re struggling to achieve your goals, book in a call (link in bio) to see how I can help you

Meet Client Zaina ✨🤩

There are so many incredible things to say about her journey thus far, not only has she lost heaps of weight (about 45kgs) her confidence around exercise and food has grown massively.

Her energy on a daily basis has increased, her mood , she’s getting much better quality of sleep and most importantly her health across the board has improved.

The thing I’m happiest for her about is that her relationship with food has changed incredibly. She’s eating more protein and trying new things on a weekly basis to implement in her diet. Her habits and thought process around food have changed drastically, which has served her very well.

She’s a big fan too, from the first class we did together where it was a bit of a struggle, to now cranking up the resistance and really going for it in every class.

Zaina has done incredibly well and there is more to come, she is literally getting stronger and fitter every gym session and activity she does. 💪

Hit the ❤️ if you think she’s smashed it

Online client Akbar who lives in Holland, making incredible progress over the last 8 weeks, he’s a real joy to work with.

He’s dropped roughy 5kgs and a ton of body fat and is now into the next phase, where we will look to push up his calories to gain some more muscle and see how strong he can get in the gym. Just wait until you see him come next summer 👀

Here is what he’s had to say about his journey so far 👇🏼
“Tarek has given me the tools to not only have a vision but also a path upon where I want to go physically. As life gets more demanding and time dependent, it is comforting to have the guidance of Tarek to be efficient in the process of improving myself. He empowers me to appreciate and enjoy the process and not just the results. I love working with Tarek and can recommend him to anyone that wants to optimise and push themselves”

A lot can be done in a short space of time with the right guidance and support 😉 if you’ve struggled to reach your goals this year, drop me a DM and we can have a chat about how I can help you

Give me a ❤️ if you think Akbar has smashed it so far!

A few months ago, I helped client Kieran get ready for his first bodybuilding show

We prepped for close to 14 weeks and in that time he got pretty lean 👀

The purpose of a diet of this nature isn’t to make it ‘sustainable’ as its not something you want to be utilising as a life long approach

However what you can learn from spending time doing something like this is:
- Making sure you eat a certain level of protein in your diet
- Learn more about portion control and prioritising more fruit and veg in your diet
- Prioritise getting good quality sleep
- Drinking a minimum of 3 litres of water a day
- Training 3-5 times a week (doesn’t all have to be in the gym)
-Being more active in your daily life

It all starts with making better choices in the short term so you can make it something you stick to for the long term. In essence It’s just about changing your behaviours to one’s that will ultimately improve your quality of life and health

In my opinion, the process you go through to get your end goal is far more valuable than just the result itself. At the end of the day, you can starve yourself and lose a few KGs, but what does that actually teach you? 🤷

I completed my third half marathon on Sunday at the for - what a race and event it was!

I beat my PB but the race itself didn’t go as I had planned

Blisters crippled my right foot at about 14/15k mark - which is not something I’ve ever experienced in any of my races/training. I could barely put pressure on my foot but kept going on

I usually pick up the pace at around the 16-17k mark and really go for it but even though my mind was screaming for me to go faster, my body wasn’t having any of it

My target was sub 1hr 30 and I was well on course for that until the little unexpected hiccup

I’m delighted to have raised over £550 pounds for this so wonderful charity aiming to normalise the conversation around mental health

I’ll need to let my foot rest up but I’ll be back running soon, ready to smash my sub 1 hour 30 target - which is even harder when you’re 90+ kgs

This year I’ll be pushing and lifting heavy stuff - what I really love about training

Be less reactive and more proactive with your actions. Don’t wait for things to fall in your lap, work hard towards your goals whatever they are

I’ll be posting more this year on all my marathon training and out there fitness challenges I have coming up 👀 where I’ll be helping raise awareness around mental health for

Featuring in men’s health has been something I’ve wanted to do for years, so it’s a bit of a personal win for me to see my picture in the magazine for the November issue.

I’m discussing my relationship with body image/food and how it’s developed throughout the years - this is a topic I talk a lot about so I’m thrilled I’m able to share my story.

Most people believe I have had It ‘easy’ and always been in shape because of what I do. This is far from the truth and has taken years of learning and self development to see the change I want. This definitely wasn’t an overnight success story!!

At times it’s affected my mental health and put a huge strain on past relationships - I talk a little about how my last relationship was a huge catalyst for change In my life and how It finally made me feel more ‘comfortable’ in how I look/feel - so thank you for that 🙌🏼

Pick up a copy to have a read of it; the whole piece on ‘body image’ is a fantastic one

PB smashed - 1hour 36 yesterday. Last year I couldn’t even run 5k without feeling out of breath and my lungs being on fire

I challenged myself to complete a half marathon with a respectable time. I lost two stone and started working towards that

Im going to beat this next time and have set myself a bigger target of a full marathon or two next year 👀
