A busy day for the Greens Team. All greens on the Vardon course were scarified, blown clean, deep spiked, hollow cored, cores all cleared, heavy sand dressing followed by matting into the holes. The team will sleep well tonight

Marrakech provided a fitting venue for the first ever Captain’s Overseas Trip. With 30+ playing three days golf in the Moroccan sunshine, it was a huge success - thanks to all the attendees. Planning already underway for a second club trip overseas in 2027.

Colin, Captain 2026, is delighted to showcase the newly updated and enhanced single malt whisky selection now available to South Herts members and their guests.

The Balvenie – Dufftown, Speyside. Smooth, honeyed, traditional.

The Dalmore – Alness, Highlands. Bold, sherry-aged, citrus and chocolate notes.

Bowmore – Islay, Islay. Classic peaty smoke with coastal brine.

The Macallan – Craigellachie, Speyside. Luxurious sherry-cask richness, fruity and spicy.
