I know the importance of cardiovascular training, but hereβs a secret: Iβm not the biggest fan of long runs either! π
Thatβs why I keep my runs short and steady, unless Iβm doing sprints. I leave the very long runs to
Most of my cardio comes from playing football with friends on Sundays and training with my son during the week. But when I miss out on those, I make sure to schedule a few runs during the week to stay on track.
According to the NHS in England, itβs recommended to do at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic activity per week. πββοΈπͺ
Here are some benefits of cardio training:
