We’re too comfortable.
Modern society has conditioned us to latch on to comfort and ease with everything.
Constant dopamine releases, instant gratification and ‘happiness’ is sold to us on a daily basis.
You’re probably walking past a billboard, or watching an advert about such thing while you’re reading this caption at this very moment.
Double tap and look at your screen and you’ll receive a delivery of your favourite ‘comfort’ food within 20 minutes without leaving the couch.
When life becomes this comfortable our brain naturally becomes uncomfortable.
Think about it, if there’s no pain how would you experience pleasure?
This is why it’s important to create discomfort in your life.
To challenge yourself physically and mentally, getting out of your comfort zone.
Avoid the temptation of easy dopamine.
You can fight back:
✔️ Train
✔️ Eat healthy
✔️ Reduce screen time
✔️ Have a solid early morning routine
