Home safe and sound from rantaoul!

Team co-machine NASAW misfired and tried to destroy itself last shot yesterday. We busted butt this morning, got her repaired and finished mere minutes b4 our turn. On the board now with 2263 in the trebuchet class. Still one more shot to go.

This shot was a bit disappointing, pumpkin didn't release when it was triggered but did as the wheel slowed down. Still one shot to go!

Day 1 shot for 2019 on the board! Had a practice shot out about 500 feet, first competition shot was 1,342 feet. Good for second in the centrifugal division right now. Sharp eyed fans may notice a significant change for this year. The hoses hanging down are for a hydraulic motor we now use to power the machine. Partially from team capt still down from a broken ankle but mostly from getting old and lazy! Two more shots tomorrow hopefully with a tail wind!

New Ammo Containment System. We've been a bit carless with punkin handling in the past. But hope these are the right combination of safe, secure, convenient, and breathable for the utmost well-being of our fagile ammo before we smash it into the ground at a couple hundred MPH.....
