ALLERGY AWARENESS & SAFETY AT TRENIC TKD
Keeping our students safe, together. 🥋
At Trenic TKD, the safety and wellbeing of every student is extremely important to us. We want all our children, young people and adults to enjoy training in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
Food allergies can be serious, and we ask all parents and carers to help us keep our training environment as safe as possible by following these simple guidelines.
🥜 1. Nut Awareness
Please avoid bringing nuts or nut-containing products into our training sessions, particularly where food may be shared or consumed.
🍎 2. Food & Treats
Please check with an instructor before bringing food into the club for birthdays, celebrations or special occasions. We ask that food is not shared between students unless agreed in advance.
📋 3. Tell Us About Allergies
If your child has a diagnosed food allergy, a history of severe allergic reactions, or develops a new allergy, please inform your instructor. It is important that we have up-to-date information and understand any necessary precautions.
💊 4. Medication & Emergency Plans
If your child has prescribed emergency medication, such as an adrenaline auto-injector (EpiPen), please speak to your instructor to agree how it should be made available and how their emergency care plan will be followed during training.
🚨 5. Working Together
Please ensure instructors are informed of any changes to your child's medical needs or prescribed medication. If an allergic reaction is suspected, we will follow appropriate emergency procedures and seek emergency medical assistance when required.
Thank you for helping us look after one another.
Our Taekwon-Do community is built on respect, responsibility and care for others. By working together, we can help ensure every student feels safe, supported and able to enjoy their training.
