Back Foot Punch Secrets ⬇️⬇️
THE BACKFOOT SHOT – 4 KEY COACHING POINTS
Master the fundamentals to create time, control and power at the crease.
1. Head still – Keep your head steady and balanced to maintain control and watch the ball closely.
2. Back and across – Move your feet back and across to get in line with the ball and create a strong base.
3. Up on your toes – Rise with the ball to get on top of it, allowing you to transfer energy and generate power.
4. Present the full face of the bat – Show the full face of the bat towards the ball for clean, consistent contact and maximum control.
Remember: Good backfoot play starts with your feet, balance and body position before you even make contact.
