What a season!

With just a few matches left, what a fantastic season it’s been for Nomads. Our best yet.

Our Middlesex Ladies finished second in Division 1, after getting promoted only last year. Our Hammersmith Ladies narrowly lost the league by just a few rubbers, after finishing the season with six straight wins and coming level on points with first place.

Meanwhile, it couldn’t have been better for our men’s teams, with all three winning their leagues, bringing home Nomads’ first trophies for men’s. Three at once. Our Hammersmith first team will play in Division 1 next year, while our second team move up to Division 2, after beating both their league rivals in their final two matches and sneaking the title by just two rubbers. And a special mention for Middlesex Men’s, who lost just two rubbers all season and now move up into Division 5.

In our first season playing Hybrid we’ve had some great matches, securing a top half of the table finish, and our Middlesex Mixed team is close to securing their position in Division 2 for next year.

Finally, our Hammersmith Mixed team have earned a playoff spot, and will be looking to bring home our fourth promotion of the season. Good luck to them.

Thanks to everyone who has played this season. We’ve competed in almost 80 matches and fielded nine teams, and the club has grown from strength to strength, with better games and more socials.

Well done to Nomads Middlesex Men's, who yesterday played their last match of the season, beating NYW 9-0 at home. That's 8 out of 8 wins for the team, who lost just 2 rubbers all season. It's also Nomads Men's first league title, with our other two men's teams also being on the cusp of winning their leagues. Let's hope they make it three our of three.

Well done also to Hammersmith Ladies, who reclaimed top spot in their division on Friday, setting up a great finish to the season.

Two great home games this weekend, and two fantastic wins for Nomads. Our Middlesex Ladies team beat ISO 6-2, while our Men's Hammersmith 2 team beat Airways 7-2 - with both teams reversing losses from earlier on in the season.

Well done to all our teams that played this weekend. Both Ladies teams won 8-0, while our Men's Hammersmith 1 lost a very close match 6-3 today.

Special mention to our Men's Middlesex 1 team, who won their league on Saturday with two games to spare, winning 6 out of 6 so far, and losing just 2 rubbers across the entire season.

Another good win for Nomads Middlesex Men’s this morning. That’s three out of three this season. Thanks to London Met for the games.

Another good weekend for Nomads, with our Hammersmith Men’s 1 winning 6-3 away at Crescent in a tight game, and out Hybrid team getting their second win of the season and another 9-0.
