Unlike some forms of exercise, Pilates does not over-develop some parts of the body and neglect others. While Pilates training focuses on core strength, it trains the body as an integrated whole. Pilates workouts promote strength and balanced muscle development as well as flexibility and increased range of motion for the joints.

When your client makes you feel truly valued. Love making a difference to people’s life’s 🙏. I’ve been teaching for a very long time, some 23 years before pilates became a trend. I’ve trained extremely hard over the years to understand the method deeply and to continue learning. The more you learn you realise how much more there is to learn. I teach predominately one to ones, all my clients are very different which is why I teach them differently. I’ll enjoy a class of wine for all my hard work now☺️

We were on The Jeremy Vine show this morning discussing if more men should be doing Pilates! (Of course they should 💪) Our teacher Sarah taught Jeremy a few moves on the Reformer & tried to keep him under control! 😂

Good morning everyone, and a Happy New Year from my family to yours.

Here’s to another year of looking after our bodies what they need physically to keep them aligned, strong, flexible and balanced .

Pilates is for sure what we all need as part of our well being, along with good nutrition and relaxation.

My first class of the year is based in Wanstead at Christchurch on the Green tomorrow (Monday) at 7.30pm.
