At a time when the world can feel unbearably heavy, with war, destruction, misogyny, racism and bigotry filling the headlines, I had an evening that reminded me how our voices can still be powerful.
I attended an author event with the extraordinary Nikita Gill. Sitting in that room, listening to her speak about hope, about dismantling misogyny, about feminism, rage, and the radical act of telling your story… I felt a sense of hope return.
Nikita spoke about writing as resistance. About reclaiming voice. About refusing to be quiet in a world that too often asks women to soften their truth. She spoke about shouting your story and and then having the courage to write it down.
In the wake of International Women’s Day, the timing felt powerful.
In my own work coaching women, I often bring poetry into the room. Poetry has a way of bypassing the noise in our heads and landing somewhere deeper. It helps women see themselves differently, shift old narratives, and reconnect with their voice. Nikita’s words and poems have been part of that process many times.
But this evening held another layer of meaning for me as I took my daughter along with me.
Because sometimes the most powerful lesson we can give our children isn’t advice, it’s an example. I wanted her to see a woman using her voice for good. A woman challenging injustice. A woman building something meaningful with words.
A woman showing what is possible.
She walked away believing that her story matters, that her voice is powerful, and that she can use it to change things.
Sometimes hope doesn’t arrive quietly. Sometimes she walks into a bookshop, sits down beside you, and reminds you that words can ignite fires and stir revolutions.✨

Becoming a mother changes everything.
And not just your sleep, your routine, or your body. It changes your identity.
So many women quietly grieve the version of themselves they once knew, while feeling overwhelming love for their baby at the same time. And that mix of emotions can feel confusing, isolating and often, guilt-ridden.
We can hold two truths at once: ‘I love my baby, my children’ and ‘I’m finding this really hard.’ Both are valid. Both deserve space.
Modern motherhood places impossible pressure on women - to ‘bounce back’ to be endlessly grateful, to do it all, while rarely asking how we are actually doing.
The Fourth Trimester: Motherhood to Me workshop is for the woman who:
• Feels like she’s lost a part of herself
• Struggles with guilt for wanting time alone
• Finds it hard to set boundaries without feeling selfish
• Misses who she was before and doesn’t know how to honour who she is now
• Is holding it together on the outside but feels overwhelmed inside
This is not another space telling you to ‘cherish every moment.’
It’s not about fixing you, because you’re not broken.
It’s about acknowledging that matrescence, the transition into motherhood, is complicated. It deserves reflection. It deserves support. And you deserve to be seen within it.
During this guided evening reset, you’ll explore:
✨ Who you are now
✨ What you need (without guilt)
✨ How to set loving, clear boundaries
✨ Practical tools to navigate overwhelm
✨ Honest conversation with women who get it
You will leave feeling lighter. Clearer. Less alone.
And reminded that motherhood can include you, too.
Because the fourth trimester is also about your adjustment to a whole new version of yourself.
And you don’t have to figure that out alone.

✨ I help people and organisations get from awareness to action without burnout, overwhelm, or losing themselves in the process.
I’ve been there.
I’m a mother of 6 children, I took 12 years out to raise my family, retrained as a coach, and went on to start my own business.
I know first-hand what it means to step away, start again, and redefine your identity — while still carrying responsibility at home and at work.
Through my coaching, I help individuals and teams:
💛Strengthen parental support in the workplace
💛Improve mental health and psychological safety
💛Recognise the many ‘hats’ people wear- especially those in the sandwich generation
💛Confidently transition back into work after having children
💛Build meaningful human connections at work
I help you move from where you are, to where you want to be, without burnout, guilt, or disconnection.
You don’t have to choose between success and wellbeing.
You don’t have to do it alone.
Because real change happens when people feel seen, supported, and empowered. 💬💛

Growth doesn’t happen by accident. It happens by choice.
As an entrepreneur navigating change, expansion, and uncertainty, Natalie came into coaching ready to realign her vision and step into her next level with confidence. Her journey is proof that when you invest in yourself, everything else begins to shift.
Through commitment, self-reflection, and powerful mindset work, she stepped into clarity, courage, and direction ✨
Watching her evolution has been incredible.
If you’re building something meaningful and feeling uncertain about your next move - support and accountability changes everything. Feeling stuck? Ready for your next chapter? Let’s talk.
You don’t have to do this alone.

Another certificate on the wall? Maybe.
But this one comes with real-world impact.
I’m now a qualified MHFA Instructor Member, which means I get to help people feel more confident having the conversations most of us avoid - until we can’t. Learning how to sit with difficult conversations, recognise early signs, and respond with compassion is powerful.
Proud of the learning, grateful for the journey, and motivated by the difference this work can make.
If anyone in my network is interested in MHFA training, partnerships, or embedding better mental health support at work, I’d be happy to have a conversation.

Last week I had the privilege of joining the panel in partnership with , speaking about one of the most complex and invisible seasons so many women navigate: balancing work, life, and caregiving.
After coaching women through exactly these transitions, a few themes stood out loud and clear:
1️⃣ Put your own oxygen mask on first
You cannot care well if you’re running on empty. Care without self-care becomes resentment, not love. Boundaries aren’t rebellion - they’re what make sustainable care possible.
2️⃣ Accept help and build your own village
We’re not meant to do this alone. Say yes when support is offered. Share the load at home. Stop over-functioning. And remember just because you have always said yes does not mean you be the default caregiver.
3️⃣ Preparation over panic
Have the courageous conversations early - wills, LPAs, care preferences, responsibilities, communication between siblings. Talk when things are calm, not in crisis. Planning ahead protects everyone, including you.
We also explored how employers can play a powerful role: flexibility, carers’ leave, open conversations, and acknowledging eldercare as a real life stage, not something employees have to manage in the shadows.
These conversations matter. They reduce burnout, strengthen families, and create healthier, more human workplaces.
If you’re navigating work, caregiving or the stretch of being ‘in between’, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
If you want support, clarity or a space to breathe and rethink the load you’re carrying, get in touch - I’d love to help you explore what’s possible next. 💛

✨ The Sandwich Generation✨
I’m delighted to have been invited to sit on the panel for ‘The Sandwich Generation’, an event exploring the challenges of balancing work, parenting, and elderly care.
As a coach, much of my work centres on supporting and empowering women as they navigate complex life stages – from the identity shifts of motherhood, to the very real pressures of caring for both children and ageing relatives. Alongside my professional lens, I also see this first-hand in my work in elderly care, where I witness families navigating these responsibilities daily.
The Sandwich Generation is no longer a rare exception, it’s an increasingly common stage of life. Whether you’re living it yourself, or managing and supporting those who are, this session will provide practical strategies, shared experiences, and expert advice to help lighten the load.
I’m looking forward to joining the discussion, sharing insights, and learning from others’ experiences. If this resonates with you or someone you know, I’d love to see you there.
