GBR Mens Whitewater Rafting Team

WE ARE OFFICIALLY BACK! 🙌🏼 After a very successful national selections competition held at in Dec, it’s an honour to announce that we have been selected to represent Great Britain this year as R4 GB1 Open Men’s team. Congratulations to all the other selected teams & a big shout out to the teams that didn’t quite make selection. Our focus now is to get our teeth into some serious training ready for the International World Rafting Championships held in Bosnia later in the year! .canoeing

It’s been a while ayy……!! Ok ok it’s been a little longer then a while but boy it was so good to be back on the raft racing scene, so great to see so many new teams coming through. Big thanks to .canoeing for hosting the event. Also massive thanks to for organising a seamless competition, thanks also to all the people helping run the event we really appreciate the time & effort you put into making these events run.

to 2015 the teams first European championships, such an incredible first competition and wow what an eye opener!!

takes us back to the World Championships in Japan, remember this H2H race like it was yesterday going toe to toe with the mighty Czech’s Men’s team!! Having a midway battle to fight our way to the finish line, placing us 3rd in the world!! We can’t wait to get back to that race line 💪🏼🇬🇧 📸 from home

What a day!! fantastic delivery from the team who left everything on the river we got a solid lead from the second pod and pushed all the way to the finish line placing us in 4th. 💪🏼🇬🇧
Places us 5th overall which is a GREAT result!

Tough day in the office today some fantastic demonstrations of raft racing thanks to the IRF World Rafting Championships for hosting an action packed day.
We managed to bag 6th in slalom and unfortunately got knocked out in the first round in the H2H but that’s racing, we have lots to take away and develop.
Downriver tomorrow we start in the second pod but look to chase down a few in front!!

Well what a fantastic & unexpected start to our competition, the boys put a big shift in today and managed to finish 3rd 🥉 💪🏼🇬🇧
Looking forward to slalom tomorrow morning which kicks off at 10am local time, followed by H2H in the afternoon.
