We have a co-working space and organic cafe adjoining our studio on Allen Road, and offer workshops, therapies and private classes too! Yogahome is a registered charity (reg no. 1119260) and our proceeds provide free yoga classes and therapeutic massage to schools and disadvantaged groups in Hackney. We are a community studio and the doors to our leafy oasis are open to everyone.

CLASS SPOTLIGHT- QIGONG 💫

With its flowing, rhythmic movements and emphasis on breath, softness and grounding, QiGong offers a beautiful antidote to overheating, stress and overstimulation- It helps circulate energy without depleting it, calms the nervous system and reconnects us to the natural rhythms of the season.

The practice of QiGong focuses on the breath, the internal dynamics and alignments of the body and the circulation of Qi (energy).

Scientific research has found that this discipline can help improve balance, bone density, depression and anxiety, immune system and inflammation, cardiovascular health and lung function.

JUNE AT YOGAHOME ☀️

GIVING BACK: OUR CHARITABLE OUTREACH

At Yogahome, community has always been at the heart of what we do.

Alongside our classes, workshops and events, we are proud to run a charitable outreach programme that makes yoga, movement and wellbeing accessible to everyone - regardless of age, background or circumstance.

What we do:

✨ We offer free and subsidised classes to local schools, refugee groups, carers, people with disabilities, and those who might not otherwise access yoga and movement.
✨ We partner with local organisations to bring the benefits of mindful movement, breath and relaxation into the wider community.
✨ We provide a welcoming, inclusive space where everyone can experience the physical and mental health benefits of practice.

Why it matters:

Wellbeing is a right, not a luxury. Through our outreach, we aim to reduce isolation, build resilience, and offer tools for both physical and emotional health — especially to those who need it most.

How you can support us:

Every time you join a class or roll out your mat with us, you’re helping to fund this work.

Together, we can ensure yoga and wellbeing practices reach far beyond our studio walls.

The full moon is a particularly potent time. You might find that you are feeling things more strongly, or not sleeping so well. A sound bath is the perfect antidote. Relaxing and releasing, you will be able to process what’s going on and harness the power of sound to pierce through any resistance, inertia, stress or anxiety.

Gong, crystal and singing bowls, bells and drums will create a unique soundscape to make you feel refreshed and relaxed and to deeply nourish the Rest and Digest nervous system.

Tea is included in the end to ground you before you head home.

A dynamic 45-minute class designed to improve both mobility and strength in the hips through mindful movement, controlled mobility exercises and functional flow sequences.

This class focuses on creating greater stability, flexibility and freedom of movement in the hips — an area that can often hold tension from prolonged sitting, exercise and everyday stress.
