Who has Billy been chatting to next?

🏉

IT WAS ONLY BRIAN MOORE 🔥 A total rugby legend. One of the most capped England rugby players there is! ( ok don’t Fact check that- but we think he should be)

🔥

We’ve got the ‘Pitbull’s’ seal of approval.

Now we just have to hope the Indian Ocean is as friendly as a 90s Five Nations front row…. 🫣.

Billy had a chat with the one and only - and told him all about our challenge coming up very very soon!

Thank you for your kind words and for talking to Billy.. who dresses like a man who only owns 5 items of clothing. 💙

We all know you love seeing this man’s face.

So here is! Billy has checked in after a few days, they had quite the row across the channel to start with culminating in losing all steering so had to be towed into Weymouth. But with all things this was just another challenge to overcome which the team dealt with brilliantly.

On to the bike portion and there were some “teething” issues but all seems to have been ironed out, fixed, bodged and they are settling into the cycle 🫶🏼.

If anything the sunshine will just add to Billy’s tan lines.. ( we aren’t jealous) 🫣.

Keep up to date with all things at

Wellll tides are fun aren’t they..

Tides in the English Channel can be fairly strong so we are seeing the zig zag motion that we tend to see when ocean rowing boats cross the channel. They don’t have an engine.. in fact the four men on board are the engine! So when the tides change they just have to “go with the flow” literally.

They are making their way across the channel and doing well.

So keep following everyone!

Well here he is! Get used to seeing Billy from this ever flattering angle- as you’ll be seeing a lot of it!

The South-North Adventures team had a brief stop in Sark, but they’ve realised they left too early so have been battling against the tide. They have a slight change in route and they are now picking up speed with the tide… as they head towards the Alderney Races!

No the aren’t planning on placing a bet or chatting up some jockeys.. it’s not those kind of races!

The Alderney Race is a treacherous strait between Alderney and Cap de la Hague on the French coast, known for one of the strongest tidal currents in the world. With currents reaching up to 12 knots (14 mph) during spring tides!! With typical ocean rowing boats rowing between 2-4 knots that would be quite the speed injection.

Anyway- keep following along with the team!

16/04/2026

And the South North Adventures are off - nearly. Just waiting for a lift to their boat.

Follow on YB races as always.

Good luck 💙.

Where’s Billy?

Not quite where’s Wally but still fun all the same.

Billy is currently waiting for a weather window to leave Jersey as part of South-North Adventures. Some mega tidal ranges and strong winds mean it’s crucial they pick the right window to avoid any unnecessary issues with some fairly pointy rocks!
