Thrilling doesn't cover it! Our Under 10/11 Ravens beat Ewell Under 11s in a sensational last-over, last-ball epic of a match on Tuesday evening.
The over began with the Ravens ahead, only to lose a wicket with the fourth ball of the over and slip one run behind the opposition score. Two runs were taken off the penultimate ball to creep back into the lead, and a scrambled single off the final ball sealed the win - by the narrowest of all junior margins!
Maximum credit to the juniors of Ewell Cricket Club for a magnificent team performance.

An innings for the age yesterday from Devang Desai! 🔥 Our Sunday Hawks took on the Croydon Royals and were 20/2 when Devang walked out to bat. At 90/7 he was joined by Ciaran Gilbride, and what followed turned the game in the Hawks favour. An avalanche of runs from Devang's bat, whilst supported by Ciaran, took the team past 220 and Devang himself past 150, and ultimately led the Hawks to a famous win!
The longer the wait, the sweeter the moment! Congratulations to Edward Briggs on his maiden Merton CC ton 👏👏

What a win!
Our Under 10 Ravens clinched the first junior win of the season with a superb win over a talented Beddington team last night. A true team effort!

They did it! Merton Cricket Club's magnificent Marsden Marchers did the full 15 miles from Chelsea to Sutton on Sunday, and raised almost £3K for the cause. The legs are achy and the knees are sore, but hitting cancer for six never felt so worthwhile!
