Gym Social!
We got in touch with our inner Viking at Axperience this Sunday. Some revealed a heretofore unknown talent for axe-throwing, others were pleased just to hit the board!

It was a lot of fun - thank you to all who came along!

Massive congratulations to our team representatives Erika & Liz who had a fine day out at .training

Erika made 2 lift PBs and qualified for England Masters.

Liz got PBs in everything and not a single red light.

These results don’t happen by accident. Both these lifters have been super consistent and very focused in their training.

The bar has been set high for 2026!

*Why this is a great example of a 5 rep max attempt*

Takes her time to set up after unracking

Hits depth every rep - and has safety bars set at correct height

Is breathing and bracing between every rep

Doesn’t rush when it gets heavy

Has a regroup after a heavy rep 3 and makes the decision to go for it!

Has lots of support and encouragement 👏

Gives it everything on the last rep!

*
Props to Amber for her 95kg for 5 reps. This was her 1 rep max at the end of last year💪

You don’t need a new program…

Not making progress in the gym? You’re probably making one of these 3 mistakes:

1. You’re skipping gym sessions - your routine is inconsistent and changes on a whim

2. You don’t track your numbers - weights, sets, reps - and you can’t remember what you did week to week

3. You get distracted by what other people are doing and compared yourself unfavourably with others

How to fix it

1. Turn up and do something. The habit is more important than the content of one workout.

2. Track your numbers (weight, sets, reps) and try to increase them a little, month by month.

3. Don’t get distracted by what other people are doing. Focus on yourself.

We have a simple mission. We are just working on getting stronger!

We’re not doing diets.
We’re not improving VO2 max.
We’re not doing Hyrox.

Nothing wrong with any of the above! But we like to keep it simple.

If you don’t want to pile on the complexities and just do ONE THING that is good for your body, come to Strength Ambassadors.

The clue’s in the name ;-)
