✨ First ever competition for our little Sophia 😍🐣💕

Let me tell you a little story…

Sophia had never danced before. No previous experience, no background in dance — just a little girl with courage, excitement and a big smile. 💕

She started her journey with Alpha Kids slightly more then a month ago and since then attended only around 5–6 group classes with Alisa, plus just 3 private lessons to prepare for competition.

Two weeks ago Sophia’s mum asked me:
“Do you think it’s realistic for Sophia to compete in Under 6 before she turns 6 at the end of May?”

And honestly… Sophia is only 5 years old. Complete beginner. Very little time to prepare.

But when trust meets belief, commitment and teamwork from both sides — amazing things can happen. ✨

This weekend Sophia danced her very first competition ever after only 1,5 month of dancing at just 5 years old… and what a debut it was 🥹💕

🏆 Ballroom:
🥇 U6 Waltz — 1st Place
🥇U12 Starter Waltz — 1st Place
🥉 U8 Waltz — 3rd Place

🔥 Latin:
🥇 U6 Cha Cha — 1st Place
🥇 U12 Starter Cha Cha — 1st Place

I am beyond proud of this tiny superstar.
Not only because of the results, but because of her bravery, hard work and confidence stepping onto that floor for the very first time. 💕

This is exactly why we do what we do at Alpha Kids — helping children grow in confidence, discipline, courage and joy through dance. 🫶

And this is only the beginning… ✨

We are excited to announce a new intake for our children’s dance group classes starting from age 5 💫

At Alpha Dance Club, we don’t just teach steps — we build confidence, discipline with joyful and fun atmosphere.

Our founders and coaches Kyle Taylor & Alisa Margulis are highly accomplished competitive dancers and experienced teachers, being former World Champions and multi time National Champions.
We are proud to be recognised as one of the strongest and most professional dance teams not only in the North of England, but across the UK.
