I started off slow but I intend to make 2026 very active. Running is hard for me - there’s a lot that’s hard for me to be fair but save that for the lounge conversations.
I’ve always loved running but found it hard until now because I’m chasing my own personal best not what the elite runners are getting after.

Ramadan is upon us and I truly hope you have the best Ramadan thus far this year. It’s a time to call to the Qur’an and recite, the month in which the glorious book was revealed. Ramadan doesn’t and shouldn’t mean an end to exercise and conscious food choices. Rather, Ramadan should be the point at which we renew the best aspects of our lifestyle, and to bring it into line with the Sunnah.
Showing out by putting on the best clothes, praying Taraweeh, Dying the beard, wearing fine perfume, remembering Allah azza wa jal much, are just some things to do during Ramadan. Fasting is daily, eating dates is recommended and milk/keifr is a nice drink to wash away hunger.

I’m trying to figure out how I can get to point B without losing the Deen Allah ta’ala has blessed me to gain. I’m trying to figure out what moves me. I’m trying to figure out a few things including the ideal nutritional diet for me. I’m in a place of self-discovery and I’m not used to it. Asking questions is needed and answers from people of knowledge is key to my success. Knock on those doors.
