This time last week 🎓🖤
I want to take a moment to give my brother Reece his flowers and celebrate an incredible achievement, graduating from SOAS University of London with his MBA. 🎓👏🏾
For anyone who knows Reece and knows his story, this moment represents so much more than a qualification.
Reece is a true testament to everything his brand represents. He’s faced tough experiences and challenging moments throughout his journey, but he’s never allowed those moments to define who he is or what his future could look like. Instead, he’s continued to grow, create opportunities for himself and use those experiences as motivation to keep moving forward and build something meaningful.
To go from those early experiences to now standing as an MBA graduate is powerful. His journey is proof to others, particularly young people, that where you start does not have to determine where you finish.
That’s what makes Reece such an inspiration.
On a personal level, I’ve also been fortunate enough to experience the person behind the achievements. A brother, a mentor, and someone who has been a massive source of support for me; someone who keeps me grounded, encourages my ideas and genuinely wants to see the people around him win.
Even while navigating his own challenges, Reece continues to find the capacity to show up for others, and that says everything about his character. From his work within prisons, to youth mentoring, sports development and the wider community work he continues to be involved in, there are so many examples of him using his own experiences, knowledge and journey to positively impact the lives of others.
These aren’t just things Reece does, they’re a reflection of who he is. Someone who genuinely cares about creating opportunities, supporting others and helping people recognise the potential within themselves.
An MBA from SOAS is another chapter in an already powerful story, and I know there is so much more still to come.
Congratulations brother. 💐🎓🥂
