Last weekend, some of the amazing GKT Netball Club members ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of our life-saving work.🎉

Raising an incredible £4,500 they have helped us continue providing vital training and resources that help save lives from su***de.

CONGRATULATIONS on getting into King’s!!!! Interested in playing netball with the best netball club in the world?

We are GKT Netball Club. GKT stands for Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ - the 3 hospitals linked to the medical school when it was initially created. Hence why there is GKT Netball and KCL Netball. However, GKT is open to any degree and we have girls playing across all years and degrees. GKT are the OFFICIAL 1s team for King’s since we won Macadam (KCL vs GKT) and Varsity.

GKT has 6 competitive team and a recreational group. We have training every week and play matches on Mondays and Wednesdays against unis across London. But of course all work and no play is no fun at all. Worry not, GKT is so much more than just netball. We have socials every week which will give you a chance to meet players from other teams both within and outside of netball. Alongside this, our tours in BOTH summer and winter, Christmas dinner, mixed socials with other London unis, balls and lots and lots and lots of fancy dress means there will be always something to look forward to.

Interested to join/come and see what all the fuss is about? Come to our freshers Wednesdays on the 28th of September and trials on the 2nd and 3rd of October to play some netball and meet the gals.

Saturday was an amazing night filled with great company, great food and perhaps one too many gin shots!!🥂

The 1s have had an incredible year being the first season back after COVID, with wins at the United Hospitals tournament, Varsity and Macadam! The girls have been very committed this season, training extremely hard so are very deserving of such amazing outcomes!
We will be sad to say goodbye to Daya and Bisi who are graduating this year! These girls have been such a big asset to the 1s team and to committee! They will be deeply missed next year!!! 💙💛
