It's so wonderful to see the depth of talent across the UK!

We were also very lucky to have a visit from Doreen Wells too.😁

And then the icing on the cake was having 3 stunning Pro Pod ( Grad Gateway) dancers performing so beautifully- and to have two of those be my very own gorgeous dancers from across the years. Lucie from ABA who went on to Elmhurst and Jess who I coached and mentored before joining RBS. Joined by the lovely Alice from Central. All now professional dancers - Full circle! 🥰

Onwards now today for our Audition Preparation Workshops!

Ballet Boost

So very lovely to see 4 Ballet Boost/ABA students performing in their Central School of Ballet Graduation performances 👏 😍

Ballet Boost Central School of Ballet

It's another road trip weekend and this time I am in very sunny Manchester 🌞

Auditions yesterday were fabulous- so much talent up here that I will be bringing The Academy of Balletic Arts to Manchester for sept! Exciting 🤩

Today it's the associates assessments and I can't wait to see them all!

Needless to say so far there has been plenty of coffee- I found an actual bank which is a rarity in London and the boots still had my colour lipstick- also discontinued in London 🤣😉
A fail on the hotel choice as right in the flight path so sat in the sun with, yep you guessed it, a coffee 😁
I will try to remember some pics of the dancers rather than coffee today!
Ballet Boost

We are off to YAGP for the very first time😱🙈
Wish us luck - 8 gorgeous dancers, , 8 lovely mum's, myself, some wine and pizza!
Oh and a lovely looking theatre with hopefully a moment to see Verona too😁

Any advice most welcome - we are the novices on this occasion 🤣🤪 I felt it was time to check it out, as so many enjoy it, and we can no longer deny a shift in the way things work.
You know me; I don't agree with losing too much training time to competition prep, and so these fabulous souls are coming on this adventure with me, trusting in their technique and a few coaching lessons here and there amidst their busy schedules - I know they will each shine in their own right as true professionals, and most of all, what they learn about themselves in this process is what matters more than any result this weekend.🥰

Back to it after a busy time.....

This month we celebrate the oh so clever Tamsin.
Tamsin joined us during lockdown and has done 3 yrs of Ballet Boost and 2 yrs of ABA.
She has made astounding progress in that time with her gifted facility for Ballet and a jolly good brain😉

Out of her many offers Tamsin has chosen to go to The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland 🤩🤩🤩🤩

We will miss you Tamsin!!!

The Academy of Balletic Arts are now expanding to offer a full 5 days of vocational training!!!
⁣
With a carefully constructed new timetable, we now have classes 5 days a week as well as essential contemporary dance training through our Dancenhance and Ballet Boost programmes.

✨The Academy of Balletic Arts offers a bespoke program for each individual dancer in which they will be guided and nurtured to achieve the highest success along their ballet journey. Mentoring programmes, 121 sessions, audition guidance, along with support from world class vocational teachers are just some of the unique elements that allow our dancers and graduates to thrive and achieve their goals. Giving Students many options for upper schools across the globe and ensuring the ultimate aim of gaining employment afterwards.

✨From September, our Senior programme will be taught 3 times a week by Anita Young MBE, as well as Yosvani Ramos and Tania Fairbairn 🙏🩰
