On Sunday 12th December 2021, marking the 40th anniversary of the famous Bonita rescue on 13th December 1981, we will be showing a 20 minute documentary film made by the RNLI on the event platform in the West Basin of St Katharine Docks.
This will be followed by a short tour of the lifeboat Sir William Arnold now permanently moored in the docks as a floating museum.
We kindly ask for a donation of £5 per person for this event, £2.50 will go towards the RNLI and the remainder to help with the boat's continued restoration.
Film viewings at 1400hrs and1600hrs
Numbers on the boat will need to be reviewed and restricted if over-subscribed due to COVID precautions and we respectfully ask that face masks be worn inside the boat unless exempt.
