Life at sea means everything gets covered in salt, ocean grime, and grease and when you’re rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic, gear maintenance (and basic hygiene!) is a constant daily battle. 🧼

We realised today that we decided to take part in World’s Toughest Row after being together for just 4 months… a bit nuts but we wouldn’t change it for the world 💙

A pretty good test if you ask us, bring it on! 🚣

60 days alone at sea in a 25-foot boat with your partner... what could possibly go wrong? 😳

This December, we’re rowing 3,000 miles unsupported from the Canaries to Antigua on board our boat Pacemaker.

Round-the-clock shifts, 5,000 calories a day of home freeze-dried meals, and dynamic ocean weather.

Sounds like is looking forward to round 2 of rowing the Atlantic Ocean… 😅

After getting stuck in a hurricane on his first crossing with ParOarMedics in .toughest.row 2024 race, you’d think he’d learned his lesson. But here we are, gearing up to take on 3,000 miles together on our boat Pacemaker this December!

Freeze dried ice cream 🤷‍♀️

A very odd concept but tastes like ice cream but not cold! A random snack to take across the Atlantic with us cut the closest we will get to ice cream for 55+ days as we take part in .toughest.row 3,000 mile row

Food packing! Welcome to the shop! It has taken us nearly a year to make all our own homemade freeze-dried meals!! Now it is time to parcel them up into day packs so each day we will have 3 main meals and maybe a pud!
