If you want a helping hand getting back into regular exercise, come and join one of our blocks of classes and you can train together with a friendly bunch that all have similar goals. Whether you have just had a baby and want some help building core strength. Or you just have more time on your hands. Getting fit is one of the most positive things you can do for yourself. I’ve just finished doing a juice cleanse from and I have to say it was surprisingly good . Loved all the juices I had, but wasn’t sure how I’d manage not eating at all. So it was a little challenging and I did spend most of the time daydreaming about when I could eat again if I’m honest. 🤣
But I stuck it out and did 3 full days of juice only! Now I am feeling very pleased with myself and remarkably not as hungry as I thought I would be.
I really needed to do something to reset my eating,as it’s descended into disaster over the last few months. After developing parosmia (when things don’t taste/smell as they should), I‘ve literally been eating nothing but rubbish and it’s really had a negative effect on me. I’ve been feeling so lethargic and grim and my mood has really tumbled.
Anyway I’m now feeling wonderfully refreshed. The juice cleanse has done a lovely job of detoxing my system and I’m going to focus more on food that is nourishing and nutritious and try and leave the rubbish alone. 🥦🥬🥒🌽🥑🍅

Trainhappy classes will be moving online for the next few weeks following the announcement last night. But just because we are online doesn’t mean you can’t train outside. Use your devise in your garden for live classes or download a recording and take it out to the common and train there. Remember you can train with one other person from a different household- So you don’t have to be alone! Don’t forget Boxercise online on Saturday mornings. You can do this in household pairs. If you need gloves and pads, I’ve still got spares and can deliver before Thursday. Pls DM if yr keen.

Not been posting much about food over the last few months That’s down to the loss of my smell & taste after having Covid back in March. More recently its begun to return but its now distorted and many things are smelling & tasting really unpleasant... so food is less a pleasure and more a chore these days. I’ve found myself eating lots of pasta, bread and rice to keep things simple, which its driving me slightly nuts- But yesterday I made an effort to make a lentil stew and only added ingredients I knew wouldn’t taste gross. It felt cosy and comforting and the right thing for an Autumn lunch. Squash, Sweet potato, lots of turmeric & ginger as well as a bag of spinach. All the above ok to my taste buds at the mo. It looked great, even if I couldn’t really taste it. But more importantly it didn’t taste bad 🤣🤣 Anyone else experiencing this? Would love to hear from you if u are.
