61% of UK adults report negative feelings about their body image.

That’s wild when you think about it.

More than half the population.

And this isn’t new or due to some Instagram induced insecurity…

Studies over multiple decades show the same thing.

People care about how they look. Always have.

In over two decades of coaching and well over 500+ success stories, not one person has ever told me they preferred being out of shape.

Not one.

So let’s stop pretending wanting to look better is shallow.

Looking better makes you feel better.

More confident.

More energetic.

More present.

If you want to be lean for summer, you need to start now.

Between now and July, you could drop 6kg of body fat (about a stone) without going crazy.

That’s the difference between looking decent and actually being proud of how you look.

And it’s not actually *that* hard.

3 sessions a week.

High protein.

Moderate deficit.

Consistent sleep.

That’s the protocol.

But here’s the smart play:

Get lean NOW.

April through June.

Then spend July and August maintaining your results.

You get to look your best while actually enjoying BBQs.

Having drinks.

Living your best life because you’ve already put in the hard graft.

So here’s the question:

Do you want to guarantee you’re lean this summer?

Or are you going to do what you did last year?

I’m still waiting…⁣

I’m turning 37 this week…

Still in better shape than my 20s.⁣

Recently whilst I was out, this chap strikes up conversation at a bar.⁣

“I used to be like you at your age”⁣

“Wait until you hit 40 mate”⁣

“Metabolism stops”⁣

“It all goes downhill”⁣

Brother, I’ve been hearing this since I was 25! ⁣

At 25: “Wait until you’re 30”⁣

At 30: “Wait until you have kids”⁣

At 35: “Wait until you’re 40”⁣

I’m STILL waiting for this mythical age where being fit becomes impossible.⁣

Because the actual plot twist, is that it DOESN’T exist.⁣

Does it get harder as you get older?⁣

Damn straight. ⁣

Niggles and injuries galore past 35..⁣

But you just need to be smarter with your training and recovery.⁣

You know what does exist though?⁣

People who peaked at 22.⁣

People who use age as an excuse.⁣

People who lowered their standards.⁣

People who gave up and need you to give up too so THEY feel better.⁣

It’s not age that ruins your body.⁣

It’s the moment you decide your best days are behind you.⁣

This guy’s 42, telling me it’s “impossible” whilst some of my clients are late 50s early 60s and look incredible.⁣

The difference?⁣

Standards don’t have an expiration date.⁣

Discipline doesn’t age out.⁣

Self-respect doesn’t retire.⁣

Your glory days are only behind you if you stop creating new ones ✌️⁣

Environment is the invisible hand which shapes success

Looking to lose a few kilos in time for your summer holiday 2026....(or maybe even more)⁣?

Here are some of the things you should STOP believing as to why you can’t get the results you want:⁣

“You aren’t eating enough”⁣
❌More than likely...you are doing the total opposite ⁣

“Need to do more cardio.”⁣
❌No, you should probably look at getting stronger ⁣

“Carbs make me put weight on”⁣
❌It’s the calories...not the carbs ⁣

“Diet drinks trick the brain...”⁣
❌Those pesky little diet cokes...But no, aspartame isn’t much of a threat unless medically told otherwise ⁣

“I eat quite late”⁣
❌The only thing that matters is over all daily intake of calories. Not what time of day or how close to going to bed you eat ⁣

“I don’t eat breakfast”⁣
❌Again, your body doesn’t know if it’s 9am or 2pm. Only when it’s hungry and when it isn’t. Breakfast is just the first meal of the day⁣

“Work is mad busy”⁣
❌But that doesn’t mean you have to eat s**t, do no activity and put everything off until it “changes” ⁣

The reason you aren’t getting the results you want, is likely due to the fact ⁣

🟣You are guessing what you are doing is right⁣

🟣You have no real structure ⁣

🟣You aren’t sure what to do/change when things slow down or are going well⁣

🟣You are eating too many calories ⁣

🟣You can’t sustain your current “plan”

🟣You’ve actually been trying for years on your own and have never had help from someone who knows what they’re doing

🟣Likely given up all hope a few years back and right now you are just so used to “trying” it makes you feel a little better about it ⁣despite no results
