"On behalf of the IPF Executive Committee, I want to welcome 5 new Member Federations in the IPF Family" said IPF President Gaston Parage when presenting the new national federations joining the International Powerlifting Federation.

Those new members are:

Barbados
Cyprus
Palestine
Paraguay and
Portugal

With these 5 new countries the IPF will have now 133 member federations present at all continents and we are happy to see that still many national federations are in the application process to become a member of the IPF.

This shows the continuously hard work from the IPF to give as many people as possible around the world the opportunity to participate in a well structured and future oriented umbrella federation.

President Parage wants also personally thank the members of the Law and Legislation Committee for their review of the constitutions from these new members to ensure the compliance with the IPF principles, rules and regulations. "I also want to take the opportunity to thank the new installed Membership Committee for the good and professional work, as well as the whole IPF Executive Committee for approving the new federations as provisional members" the President closes.
