Earlier this month, residents gathered in the Auriens Chelsea library to welcome opera singers from Opera Prelude for an enchanting recital of 'So This Is Love?'
London-born mezzo-soprano Clover Kayne, praised for her warm and expressive tone, performed a carefully curated programme of opera and song, accompanied by pianist Joe Cavalli-Price, founder of Music in Hospices and a passionate advocate for the role of music in wellbeing.
A memorable evening for the Auriens community.

A memorable evening at Auriens Chelsea, as students from English National Ballet School, under the direction of Artistic Director Lynne Charles, brought Tchaikovsky’s world to life through movement and music.
This special performance marked the beginning of an ongoing partnership. Auriens is supporting a first-year student throughout their three-year training programme. As part of this journey, residents have already begun attending rehearsals, masterclasses, and performances.

We were delighted to recently host Alan Russell of Russell Simpson at Auriens Chelsea. During his visit, Alan put his artistic skills to the test during one of our art classes, held in our light-filled studio spaces.
Art sessions form part of our wider calendar of immersive weekly activities and events for residents - for those with a long-standing passion for the arts, as well as those keen to explore new creative pursuits, and community gatherings.

Our residents’ garden awaits the season ahead.
Conceived by Andy Sturgeon, the space has been thoughtfully designed to be enjoyed in different ways, at different times of day and throughout the seasons. Landscaped as a series of distinct pockets, each with its own purpose, the space offers comfortable Gaze Burvill seating for quiet reflection as well as more expansive areas for private dining and community gatherings.
