-5 philosophies I live by-
1. Discipline is easy when you stop pretending to be someone you’re not.
If you're misaligned, forcing yourself into routines, identities, and goals that don’t fit, will feel forced and will eventually fail. When you are aligned, however, discipline suddenly feels light and sustainable, and success becomes inevitable.
2. Discomfort > Comfort
Seek discomfort as much as you can. I feel genuinely *uncomfortable* when I'm technically comfortable, which is because there's no growth when you're comfortable. Listen to people who have beliefs that challenge your own, and challenge yourself to do new scary things as much as possible. Your future self will thank you for it.
3. Life lessons repeat like a broken record player until you integrate them.
If you want to stop feeling like you're on an endless merry-go-round, take a step back and determine what lessons you're ignoring. If you don't, you'll just keep spinning your wheels and getting nowhere.
4. Your nervous system runs your life more than your mindset does.
You can’t think your way or will your way out of patterns your body still believes are necessary for safety. You need to use your self-regulation patterns to shapes your lifestyle; your needs will overpower any motivation you think you can muster every time.
5. Self-betrayal is more exhausting than honesty.
Shrinking, softening, and filtering yourself to stay palatable for others drains more energy than simply being clear, even when clarity creates friction. You simply cannot be afraid to make a few enemies on journey to success and true alignment. It's better to have some superfans and some enemies than to have a bunch of lukewarm people in your life.
If this stings, it’s because it's touching something real. Make friends with that stinging feeling - that's where the work and the growth starts.
