Hello from St. Lucia! π΄
My recent juicing workshop inspired me to make a smoothie and blend something delicious. I was demonstrating how juicing is better than blending for nutrients, but we also made some smoothies - and they were fabulous!
So after my swim, I grabbed my Nutribullet and made this:
π₯₯ Coconut water
π Melon
πΏ Turmeric
πΆοΈ Cayenne pepper
Itβs so refreshing and great for boosting your metabolism first thing in the morning. Add cinnamon if you have it - even better! π
Give it a try and let me know how you get on!

Day 7: Start a juice journal π
Write down what you juice and how you feel after.
Track: β Ingredients you used β Energy levels β Skin changes β Digestion improvements β Recipes you loved
This way, youβll learn what works best for YOUR body and taste - we are all bio individuals. Thatβs when juicing becomes even more powerful π₯
Thatβs it for the Juicing for Beginners series - I hope you found it useful.

Day 6: Save your pulp π₯
Donβt throw it away! Juice pulp is still packed with fibre and nutrients.
Use it in:
β A delicious vegetable stock thatβs different every time
β Veggie burgers or fritters
β Baking (add to muffins or crackers)
β Compost for your garden
I save my pulp in a bag in the freezer, and when itβs full, make my stock.
Nothing needs to go to waste π

Juicing Tip #5: Make sure you store your juices properly π₯€
Use a glass bottle or jar, keep it in the fridge and drink it within 72 hours.
Fresh juice loses nutrients over time, so the sooner you drink it, the better!

Juicing Tip #4: The best time to drink your juice, if you are a beginner, is in the morning π
I like to drink a glass of water, or water with lemon juice, when waking up - and then I have my juice. This is because itβs great for nutrient absorption, digestion and starts the day off the right way.

Juicing Tip #3: Choose the right juicer π₯
A good cold press juicer makes all the difference. Youβll get more juice and less wet pulp waste.
Not sure which one to buy? Send me a message and I will help you choose a juicer for your budget.
Bonus tip: If your pulp is very wet, squeeze it through a cheese cloth to get more juice.

Chose one of the following recipes for juice 1 β¬οΈ
(1) Spinach, apple & celery
(2) Cucumber, pak choi, parsley (+ a chuck of ginger)

Hereβs a new green juice recipe for you to try this week! π
β 3 stalks celery
β 2 apples
β 2 cucumbers
β Handful of parsley
The apples add just enough sweetness to balance the greens perfectly, plus benefits of antioxidants, replacing electrolytes, reducing bloating and good for the heart.
Cucumber + celery again are your hydration dream team, they flush out excess fluid, reduce bloating and support kidney function - great for weight loss!
Try it and let me know what you think π
Iβm starting my Juicing For Beginners series this week. Make sure youβre following to get my delicious juicing recipes.
