Maddy has completed her time at the Pharaoh Cup with a bronze medal in the floor final.
What a way to step back into international competition!
We can't wait to see her in the gym when she returns later this week, and she can show off her medals.
Fab work Mads, we couldn't be prouder! โญ

News just in!... Maddy wins gold in the vault final at the Pharaoh Cup! ๐Ÿฅ‡
Huge congratulations Mads! What a way to get back into competition!
Maddy has prepared for this competition with her usual hard work, but also being strategic to not rush after her shoulder surgery. She used this competition as a way to get out her new forward vault but she played it safer with her backward vault. Even without one of her big vaults she has achieved a PB, made a final and won the gold! โญ
We are so proud of you Maddy.
Good luck tomorrow in floor final... Enjoy showing off that new routine you've worked so hard on! ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿ’ƒ ๐Ÿ’ช

Congratulations to her NZ team mates who also achieved medals in the Senior, Junior and Youth categories. ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟ ๐Ÿฅณ

As always... Thank you to NHG (New Zealand Club) and Huntingdon (Club while at university) for all your work to help with Maddy. Team work!

On Thursday night some senior staff members attended the premiere of a short independent movie made by a former gymnast Ilan Lampl, now a professional film maker.

โ€œNumbers Gameโ€ followed our Senior Gymnast Matt McClymont who represents Jamaica.
It documents his unique story as he trains whilst being a full time care giver to his disabled older sister.

The premier in the Curzon cinema in Hoxten was followed by a Q&A with Matt, director Ilan and the other filmmakers involved.

Congratulations to Matt, Ilan and all involved on a movie that highlights such a unique true life story.

Last week our WA gymnasts finished off their summer training with hard work at National Squads.
Layla had 5 days with the GB development squad where she worked consistently to be awarded the "WAG Warrior" prize at the end of the week.
Ari, Ema and Elsie had 2 days at England squad where they battled hard to earn points for their groups... The Juniors tried hard but at the end Ema's group of tough Seniors took the prize!

Well done girls for once again showing the great TGC mindset!

Jasmine recently won coach of the month because of her enthusiasm for coaching and her motivation to continuously improve her coaching skills; she is also currently working hard to achieve her coaching qualification. Jaz is always on time, up to date with admin tasks and delivers excellent sessions, ensuring every gymnast is able to thrive.
Jaz has also been a part of our Acro Squad for a number of years competing both Nationally and a part of our award winning team that went to Disney last year.
Well done Jaz!๐Ÿ‘

Elizabeth also won coach of the month recently for being great at helping out during the additional holiday sessions. She has also been awesome at keeping on top of all her badge work and helping other coaches to organise theirs. Elizabeth works hard and is motivated to keep progressing her coaching knowledge and is working towards achieving her coaching qualification. Well done Elizabeth ๐Ÿ‘

Today, we ran a coaching workshop focusing on warm-up activities! ๐ŸŽ‰

Our coaches created, participated in, and reflected on their activities as a group, ensuring they were as engaging, inclusive, and fun as possible. ๐Ÿค๐ŸŽฏ

Theyโ€™re now ready to deliver these activities in their sessions over the coming weeks. ๐Ÿ’ชโšฝ

Well done, team! ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒŸ
