Paige Hoile joined PH1 during a real transitional period for the group.
She came into PH1 in February 2022 while still deep into Year 11, and in many ways her arrival helped spark a shift in direction. As the existing PH1 roster had grown in age and maturity in their footballing journeys, bringing in Paige - then a Denham United player preparing to leave girls' football with an impressive goals tally - gave PH1 the opportunity to reset its storytelling and begin documenting a new generation of players making the transition from girls' football into the senior game.
Over the last four and a half years, Paige's journey has not been straightforward, but there have still been some important highs along the way.
After a turbulent spell with West Ham, where opportunities were not always consistent but she still managed to make an impact when called upon, Paige went on to join Oxford United. There, she became part of a treble-winning side that lifted the Oxfordshire County Cup, the FAWNL Reserve Southern Division title unbeaten, and the FAWNL Reserve Cup. In doing so, she became one of only a small number of players in PH1 history - alongside Caitlin Crierie and Poppy Dearlove - to win a national competition while representing PH1 FC.
She would later get her break in National League football with QPR, but the last 12 months have been frustrating, with injuries disrupting her momentum and run of games with her last appearance coming in a Plate final loss to Middlesbrough at St. George's Park.
Paige was the first, and we'll never forget that.
Not every transition is smooth, and not every career is linear, but Paige has played a very important role in PH1 history, especially in the story of the PH1 Academy. Her place in that story is secure.
Alongside her football, Paige has also been working to make a name for herself in media production, having graduated from the Global Academy. So whether her next chapter is on the pitch, behind the camera, or elsewhere entirely, we wish her nothing but the very best.
Thank you, Paige. You'll always be remembered as a key part of PH1 history.

Thank you, Merle, Stef and Shauna. ❤️
Across the last 6–7 years, each of you has played an important part in the PH1 story and helped shape the group into what it is today.
Shauna was one of the earliest to come on board and, over time, became part of the fabric of PH1. While her focus has now shifted away from football and more towards new opportunities, new spaces and a different lane creatively, her place in the story will always be secure.
Merle remains involved in the game in a different way, continuing to make an impact through the Millwall Community Trust and her work in the community game. Even away from the pitch, that continued connection to football is something that deserves real respect.
Stef, meanwhile, showed this past season that there is still plenty left in the tank, captaining Maldon & Tiptree Women to a league title and reminding everyone of the level of leadership and presence she brings. While the level she has been playing at has sat outside the threshold for regular PH1 Matchday coverage, that does not take away from the milestone she achieved, nor from the fact that her journey is far from over.
Although all three have moved into different chapters, they remain a huge part of the legacy of this group. PH1 FC would not be where it is today without people like Merle, Stef and Shauna helping lay those foundations.
Forever part of PH1 FC.
