Quiz Night was awesome! Thank you to .ealing for hosting our event, manager Dean for making it such a success and Pascale for donating a very special signed shirt for our next fundraising event! Thank you to our quizmasters Robbie and Dale and everyone who attended - we raised nearly £200 for resources for the club.
This was just the start of our huge fundraising push! Jeff's Golf Day is coming up in September. Look out for details soon.

Summer 6's was sizzling! Green vs red vs blue vs yellow, three mini matches, plenty of fun! Mixed teams, age range 15 to 53!
Yellow's were an unstoppable force and topped the chart this week.

Congratulations to all our U07 - U10 players and winners at the Ealing Hockey 2025/2026 Awards Ceremony!

We had a fantastic first session of the awards evening at the University of West London Freddie's Bar, hosted by Dale in his fabulous orange jacket. Jeff's Ealing HC tie got worn for most likely the only time this year...Zeya worked his magic on the music and Bodhi was an excellent camera man.

Young Leaders Izzy and Molly confidently presented awards to the Little Sticks' players with everyone receiving a medal from Jeff, and further winners were recognised for their hockey skills and improvements through the season. Young Leader Coordinator Penny and the Young Leaders received chocolates from the Team Managers for all their hard work with the Little Sticks players.

A little boogie and some running around followed - lots of fun and lots of happy faces! Can't wait for next year already!

Ealing Hockey Club vs Imperial College Hockey Club - Mixed Friendly Saturday 30th May 2026 - Match report by Rachel

As we arrived at 🌞Costa del W5, we were greeted by a huge squad of students already warming up! Genius move all arriving early and all at once to out-psych the opposition on our own pitch…
It worked…
Nothing strikes fear into the hearts of some of the more age-challenged members of the Ealing adult teams, than a huge group of 20-year-olds stretching with ease while managing to chat and laugh together with not a massage gun or foam roller in sight…
As the Ealing team leisurely strolled in, Captain Alex gathered them to coordinate a slick looking warm up. Ealing alumna Ellie turned up in her old bright orange junior kit with a hangover, while Mum of 3 little hockey players, Jenna, made her impressive debut for EHC. A lot of discussion followed from both sides as they tried to manage mixed teams with random players in varied positions. Ealing lucked out with the acquisition of three of Imperial’s players to even the numbers (and average age) up a bit.
To the game – quarters due to the heat created a fast pace with dynamic ball skills and expert passing from both sides. Lots of subbing in and out led to some confusion about who was playing where. Both sides kept attacking well and the borrowed Imperial players turned out to be the best signings of the season for Ealing, grabbing two goals each! Huge respect to the goalkeepers for withstanding extreme heat in full padding.
Lots of fun was had by all - even the goats braved the heat to come out to watch!
Thank you to Imperial College HC – we are looking forward to a rematch soon!

Our Young Leader, Zeya umpired the Ealing HC vs Imperial Hockey mixed hockey match today with some excellent guidance and mentoring from Chairman Jeff. Zeya has passed his Level 1 Unassessed umpire course and is now gaining practical experience.
We love umpires and are always looking out for more players and parents to join our umpire team. Ask pitchside or DM for details.

Chairman Jeff is recovering in an ice bath after three days of gorgeous weather for the camps in Costa del Ealing 🌞😉
