🏹 TRIPLE HEADER HEROICS! 🏹

​What a phenomenal weekend of archery at home! A huge congratulations to the GOA team for an absolutely brilliant performance in the Middlesex Short Metric League.

​We hosted Aquarius, Pinner, and Hampstead for a massive triple header, and our archers absolutely delivered:

​🏆 Recurve Clean Sweep: Won all 3 home matches on both Recurve Team Handicap AND Recurve Team Made Scores!

🎯 Barebow Battles: Our Barebow team put in a fantastic performance, taking a brilliant win against Pinner and fighting hard in a tough match against Aquarius.

​Days like yesterday show exactly what GOA is all about—teamwork, focus, and a fantastic club spirit. A massive well done to everyone who stepped up to the line and supported the club! 💚🏹

Six Aquarians headed to the Middlesex County Championships last weekend and all six came away with first places in their categories. What a result! 🎯

It was a very hot day in the middle of a heatwave, but everyone kept going and did the club proud.

A huge thank you to Middlesex County for organising, and to Greenwood Osterley Archers for hosting us so warmly!

Yesterday we shot our second Short Metric League shoot with an away match versus Greenwood Osterley Archers Greenwood Osterley Archers 🙌🏹

GOA won the Recurve match both on made and handicap score but we won the Barebow match 💪

Thank you to GOA for hosting us so warmly, especially with the homemade cakes and samosas ❤️

Last week, our Club Chair Meera Shah and Head Coach Sailesh Shah attended a touching ceremony in Bournemouth/Dorset to celebrate the life of our beloved honourary member, Ted Page, who spent a decade with our club.

As equipment officer and master craftsman, Ted's kindness, dedication, and contributions had a lasting impact.

We'll cherish the memories and honour his legacy. He loved helping building the club up by making stands, flags and various other items along with Sailesh!

Ted loved sharing stories and his smile brightened the club, with a passion for archery that never faded. 🏹❤️

Rest In Peace, Ted 🙏🕊
