Your training isn’t the problem.

Working with Iona towards her spring marathon has been an absolute pleasure 😍

Long run rudely interrupted? 💩👀

You put it down to a “sensitive stomach”

But that might not be the case

Maybe you’re just eating like it’s a normal day… and then trying to run on top of it

Fibre is important
But not right before your run

If your pre-run meal is made up of…

🌾Wholegrains
🍓Fruit
🥦Veg
🌱Seeds

All the things you’ve been told are “healthy”

…it’s probably sitting in your stomach while you’re trying to run

This isn’t about cutting foods out

It’s about not making your runs harder than they need to be

Lower fibre ➡️ pre run
Add it back in ➡️ post run

Not just a calorie target
Nutrients are important
Timing is important

⏰ right nutrient, right time
