Your training isn’t the problem.
Your fuelling is.
Inconsistent. Sporadic.

Would you look at that for just SIX WEEKS progress!?
Working with Iona towards her spring marathon has been an absolute pleasure 😍
We’re seeing paces and distances she didn’t think she was capable of, as well as transforming her nutrition and recovery to SUPPORT her goals, instead of sabotaging them.
But more impressive? Her mindset shift.
Iona has learnt to fuel her body for performance, with no restriction, while still making progress towards her aesthetic goals.
You CAN do both. You just have to prioritise properly and have the right structure, accountability and support.

You put it down to a “sensitive stomach”
But that might not be the case
Maybe you’re just eating like it’s a normal day… and then trying to run on top of it
Fibre is important
But not right before your run
If your pre-run meal is made up of…
🌾Wholegrains
🍓Fruit
🥦Veg
🌱Seeds
All the things you’ve been told are “healthy”
…it’s probably sitting in your stomach while you’re trying to run
This isn’t about cutting foods out
It’s about not making your runs harder than they need to be
Lower fibre ➡️ pre run
Add it back in ➡️ post run
Not just a calorie target
Nutrients are important
Timing is important
⏰ right nutrient, right time
stiff hips? knee pain? back pain?
if you’re a runner or train a lot - the answer is probably yes
so hit save and start incorporating some hip mobility into your routine
your hips will thank me later 🫶
